Now that the schedule has been released, figure I'd start the 2019-20 ticket thread.

This is my first year not being a SSH since 2006...

But I'm putting it out there that I'm looking to get tickets to put me in the building on Ring Night. :)

That may be the hardest ticket of the season to get, not only because it's a one of a kind - I mean, Kawhi's visit won't be the only time he plays again in Toronto, etc etc. I've been asked already about my tickets for that game, but it's a day after my birthday and I'm making a celebration of it with my wife downtown - dinner and a banner raising.

I'm fully expecting to have to pay to get tix. Resale market will likely be playoff-level crazy.

The "/s" isn't necessary lmao. The playoff run taught me that people will try to make a buck off anything. The most disgusting people were coming out of the woodwork. People were selling $2 newspapers for $20. They were selling FREE movie theatre showings for $20, $30. Insane. Just shows how capitalism at its extreme makes humans turn against each other.

I spent thousands on raptors finals tickets... it was worth it but i wont spend that for a banner raising, will watch at home with my feet up and my beer in hand...

if anything i think flying to la to watch lakers and clippers back to back games (and includes kawhis first game against raptors) would be kinda more fun for me...

Right now there are tickets on sale on StubHub.
Here’s a breakdown of the cheapest balcony sideline Prime 1 seats I was looking at:

Sec 310 Row 6 selling for:
$321.00 + 37.08 tax/fees = $358.08 USD = C$476.86 ea

This is about a 200% mark up since I assume the Prime 1 seats will cost SSH holders about C$150-160.

I'd buy them if you are interested because price is only going to go up, once the general public figures this out.

I was keeping an eye on them to figure out what I might sell my tickets for if I don't go. My pair are similar seats but in row 5.
It'll be interesting to see the effects of Kijiji banning the sale of tickets. There could be an overload of sellers on Stub, TM etc..bringing the prices down which would be good for non-season seat holders. But it obviously benefits StubHub, Ticketmaster, and other resale sites as they load up on the commissions. It was appalling how much Ticketmaster and StubHub were making on commissions during the NBA Finals. How could they justify making 10-15% commission (I think) from the buyer and 10% commission from the seller for a $2000+ ticket? Did they actually have to do more work? Was there a higher level of service than when they facilitate the sale of a $50 ticket? They say they want to "protect" the buyer from scammers sure, but it's more about making more $$$ for themselves IMHO.

Kijiji says it’s to protect consumers from fraud given the growth in electronic tickets. Ironically I think digital tickets are more secure - a reseller can no longer print a ticket and photo copy and it and resell it 10 times.

In order to pay for the run, I'm planning to sell all major games. Opener, Lakers, clips, spurs, bucks, Houston, Christmas, gsw..not sure bucks will command much. Once I've got a better handle on levels may post here or on the FB page.

I suspect gsw and Lakers are level 1 only. Home opener level 2 along with spurs, Houston, clips, christmas game. Then rest 3 and 4.

Anyone know if they plan to send ssh replica rings? Hopefully they send something better than a hat again.

The only tier 1 games are the two LA teams. Tier 2 is the home opener and Christmas day. There are three tier 3 games, ten tier 4 games, fourteen tier 5 games, and ten tier 6 games.

Has this been confirmed or is it mere speculation?

Confirmed by my rep yesterday. I actually made a mistake though. GSW is tier 2, not Christmas. Found that one kinda strange. I think Christmas will be much more in demand

Thanks. Ya, surprised by this.

Personally, I think GSW is a tier 1 and not the clippers. Anyone know what the odds are in Vegas on KL playing that game. I'd bet against him playing and put my money on it being a load management game.

Wow, thanks for telling us, I wouldn't have known to go there. Every year around this time its always a huge pain trying to get the tiering spreadsheet from my rep. I always had to email him 3 or 4 times.
