So Far:

#80 Ibaka
#42 Gasol

The top 30 haven't been released yet. Both Lowry and Siakam I assume will be included in the top 30.

DD is 31 on the list by the way.

maybe you think they will be, but Lowry is definitely a top 15 player, I have him #12 for the upcoming season

Tatum remains the most overrated player in the league, at least Jaylen Brown dropped from top 50 last year lmao. Still too high.

FVV should be on this list

Ibaka at 80 seems a little bit too low for me, I mean last year some people were chirping about him potentially making the all-star team. Obviously he's not all-star material but I think he proved in the playoffs he's a more valuable piece than Otto porter, Thad young or Rubio.

In terms of true impact and actual value on the court, I think you can comfortably make the case for top 15.

Advanced stats show Lowry to be a top player in the league, and even the eye test proves this. You probably shouldn't base your opinion of players on statlines and youtube comments.

If we are going strictly by last year, Lowry should be top 20 and Siakam top 30. The great thing is I expect Siakam to be top 20 or even 15 on the list next year when these rankings are done again. Like others have said, Lowry's impact on winning in every facet of the game is undeniable. He is pretty much elite in every respect for his position except for iso scoring and one on one defense, but we know all the other things he does on offense and how good of a team defender he is, evident by an already really good defensive team being even better defensively when he is on the floor and all his other elite tangibles. Stats are stats, wins are wins.

If Kemba hadn't joined the team i'd have said watch out for Tatum and/or Brown having solid years.

Lowry has started to regress pretty noticeably. He shot 34.7% from 3 last season, and that's his bread and butter.

Three point shooting is not, nor has it ever been, Lowry's "bread and butter"

I'm curious if Durant will be included or omitted from the list. If it's top 100 players for the coming season and he's expected to be out for the season, technically he should not be included

Personally, I love this line from the Chris Paul excerpt.

"The conversation around the rise and fall of NBA players tends to exaggerate things; every veteran who takes a step back is clearly washed, and every young player who takes a step forward is an inevitable star. "

Great way to describe this list as half of the young guys are based on hype.

Top 10 is all that's left:

So I guess it will include (in no particular order) LBJ, Curry, Giannis, Kawhi, Harden, Lillard, Paul George, Anthony Davis, Jokic, Embiid.

I guess KD not included due to injury, Klay was dropped a lot but he is expected to return. Unless one of the players I wrote was already in the list and I missed it
