This briefly had me so confused given he was just announced on the team's season roster tonight. Masai and Bobby working with all the rules we didn't even know existed!

It's not like he's going down to the G league anyways. Miller will be ahead of SJ who's unplayable right now. You can only throw SJ out there in certain situations when you need to stop the other team's star SF's. Other than that he's ahead of SJ. SJ sucks!!! His handles are worse than OG's and he can't score at all.

Saw the thread title and was worried. I really like Miller's potential. I think he will get an opportunity this year. Good size, length and athleticism.

Miller is allowed to be sent down to the 905 as an "assignment player" because he's the property of the Raptors not the 905. If he's waived, then Phoenix's g-league team has his rights, but he doesn't really have to go there if he doesn't want to.

Thanks for this clear and succinct explanation. Makes sense now.

Wonder why they even needed to include Miller's RR in the first place...

I think its like how the Raptors still old Nando DelColo's NBA rights, but it doesn't mean much as long as he stays in Europe. I think its just a way for G-league teams to execute more one-sided trades. I think for Miller, if he ever gets waived or contract is up with the Raptors, he should be able to get a pretty comfortable deal in Europe and not go back to the g-league.

This should light a fire under him. Play well or you end up in a fate worse than NBA hell.
