Obviously he's Spanish and would fit right in with Marc/Serge and Scariolo this year.

Willy would be a nice piece.
If they ask for anyone/thing outside one of S.Johnson/P.Mccaw/M.Miller/D.Hernandez/M.Thomas I would decline though. If he was on a multi-year cheap deal however I would've included trading Powell for him+expiry/T.Davis/in that list of tradeable pieces.

Yup. Which is a lot of salary being dumped. Perfect for good fit thats overpaid the next year or two, and would expire in Giannis free agency.

Cough Derozan cough*

well they are all expiring either this year or next no? I don't see us trading Gasol unless a good deal that nets us a young player and/or picks. Raps aren't taking on any long term salary.

Masai will probably let him expire because he will use Gasol in the playoffs against Embiid and Giannis again.

Oh my god this would be a dream come true.

Personally would have Bogdan start at the 2 and have Fred lead the charge from the bench.

I guess regardless it doesnt matter, Bogdan would be so lethal for us

It's honestly perfect for a rental. Won't affect our 2021 room and gives us another perimeter/PnR creator. If Sac keeps him they'll lose him for nothing which they can't afford to do whereas we can.

This trade has come up quite a bit and I think it's good for both teams.

Sac won't pay want its likely going to take to retain him after that big commitment they made to Buddy Hield. At least if they take Norm, they get a decent back up SG on a longterm deal for a guy they we're going to keep anyway.

As for us, I wouldn't mind paying him to stay with us.

2 trades:

Norman Powell + Thomas + 2nd Rd Pick for Bogdan Bogdonavic
Stanley Johnson + future 2nd rd Pick for Jae Crowder

Kyle Lowry / Fred VanVleet
Bogdan Bogdonavic / Terrence Davis
OG Anonoby/ Jae Crowder
Pascal Siakam / Rondae Hollis-Jefferson
Marc Gasol / Serge Ibaka

Lots of options for Nurse in the Playoffs in terms of lineup variations

Jae Crowder is definitely better than Stanley Johnson. I doubt Grizzilies would do this deal at all.... but the improvement isn't worth a 2nd round pick

If anything, i would pick Andre I...would fit the team really well

Yes, Powell + 2nd round pick for Bogdan makes a lot lots of sense, only if Bogdan puts effort into playing defense and buys into coming off the bench.

You know who we need to get back?

Jak & Skills

Toronto trades: Norman Powell
San Antonio trades: Jakob Poeltl + Marco Belinelli

This works according to trade checker.

Although i definitely think Purtle can be a great long term fit next to Siakam, I also think he needs to work on his 3 point shot.

He has thia cagey defense, but I havemt followes him after the Spurs trade. To me, he seemed the best out of all the young guys, until Siakam came out of nowhere.

A perimeter defense that can switch with Purtle and Siakam (who are playing top notch defense) would be amazing. Only issue is that we can't play 5 out.

Hence I really think instead of Purtle we shouldve drafted Sabonis. I know our draft board had him a close second to Purtle , so it just sucks we couldnt get him.

Sabonis
Siakam
Giannis is deadly.

But we can slot in Boucher there as well, and I wouldn't mind.

Do you guys actually think Norman have trade value lol

Masai would have to send out assets with him for a salary dump.

Lets get crazy to fix our rebounding

Norman Powell
Stanley Johnson
Pat McCaw
2 2nds

For

Tristan Thompson

Cleveland gets an asset for an expiring and a look at some young guys. Tristan would be perfect to prevent those costly offensive boards and would give another big body to throw at Embiid.

Also a deal of

Gasol
Hernandez
2 2nds

For

Steven Adams

Would be awesome. OKC cuts a year off Adams and gets some assets. We solve the rebounding issue and get a great defender and hustle guy. He also expires in 2021.

I would be down with that if we didn't have grand FA plans in 2021.

and if the salary cap went up to $150M

Unprotected 2020 first round pick

Sacramento trades

Bogdanovic
Harry Giles

Gives Toronto this team going into the playoffs

PG: Lowry/VanVleet/Davis
SG: Bogdanovic/Simons/Thomas
SF: Little/Hollis-Jefferson/Johnson
PF: Siakam/Boucher/Giles
C: Whiteside/Marc or Serge/Giles

Team has three very good pieces to build with in Pascal, Simons and Little plus Boucher age Davis look very promising and have a small deal. Plus they kick the tires on Giles to see if he has anything left to give. Only thing is Bogdanovic needs a new deal next offseason

That team has lights out shooters and defense. Think they match up with Boston and Philly well

Can't say if Portland or us would love the deals because front offices are always in love with their rookie contract players and their potential, but the idea of shaving off around 8 mil of OG's cap hold with another promising rookie contract is a valid approach that Masai might take.

The issue for me is that OG's skillset: a lockdown defensive wing to matchup against superstars who also happens to have offensive talent just isn't found in the summer league bargain bin.

I guess if we get Giannis he becomes that guy, but I don't know if the extra depth with the 8 mil makes up for the playoff quality talent that OG brings.

i doubt the kings want powell...They already have 3 bad long term contracts in Barnes, cojo and Demdon. adding Powell to those 3 would give them 60 million in horrible contracts for the next 3 years. Still have to pay Fox and Bagley during that time. o

They'd Probably would be more interested in Bogdan and one of Cojo and Demdon for Ibaka or gasol. just to free up more cap space, plus they need a big
