I do understand regretting wanting 4 SGs in the starting lineup. I'm not even sure how that remotely follows.

I remember Maurice "Mo" Taylor during the VC days. I think we showed interest in him but he decided not to sign with us or something. Glad it didn't happen since he didn't or wouldn't be the type to move the needle anyway.

players - people that play in the nba

you - yourself

regret - feel sad, repentant, or disappointed over

wanting - a desire of something you want to possess

for - a function word to indicate purpose

the - (there are actually so many dictionary definitions for this word Im not reading to get proper one lol)

Raptors - thats our team.

Hope that helps!

No I don't get how Bradley beal and some of those others names would make one regret wanting them

We arent talking about guys like Beal lol. If you can honestly say you have NEVER wanted a player that turned out to be a bust or a disappointment all the power to you.

Except you would be full of BS because if that were the case, you would have understood the question lol.

But we are he has beal literally in the op along with some other good players. Also obviously everyone has like poop players but again is not what I'm talking about.

The ONE guy who said Beal said he regrets the entire starting lineup as a whole and Beal was one of them. I suppose even if he isolated Beal and said that is a regret thats his opinion, how does it change your understanding of the question lol.

Who you got?

In the past there are tons of players I wanted the hell off this team though. Luckily Masai and Bobby seem to share my sensibility and have the team moving in a direction that doesn't give me any room to complain.

I was looking at the PG position 2 years ago, and I thought Elfrid Payton was potentially a good pickup, or even an upgrade over FVV at the time. I just remember being midly intrigued whenever he played against us in Orlando. My only regret is thinking he'd be better than FVV.

I'm still somewhat following him and his current contract was 9million with the knicks for two years, and I'm wondering if he's still viable as a option for 2021 for cheap if we haven't sorted out our PG backup by then. He's still cheaper than norm.

TBH Milsap wouldnt be terrible in his place I think (although Im also glad we got Baka, Milsap is much older).

This year he is averaging:

14.1/7.4/2.3/1.3s/1.0b (and that is after a pretty slow start)

shooting 45/50/88

EDIT:

My bad those were his career stats.

This year:

13.3/6.4/1.4/0.5/0.7

45/50/88

I literally prayed before the 98 draft that we would draft Jamison and celebrated so hard when we did. This was shortly followed by the biggest wtf when we ended up flipping him for Vince right after.

This thread reminded of that guy on here around the 2009 who was die hard on picking Terence Williams at 9, and had a million posts explaining why he was going to be a superstar

Not sure if anyone else remembers that, or if I'm overstating how hardcore this dude was about Terence Williams, but the guy was such a true believer that he had me prepared to accept us taking him at 9

I remember a lot of people here wanting Markieff Morris.

I regret wanting Jeremy Lin, only because he was the only real good vet in the BO market.

I don't know if it would have made much of a difference. Millsap seems more injury prone, but has a more consistent 3. Serge brings a lot of personality and emotion to the mix. I dunno, maybe Kawhi decided he couldn't be around such a clown for any longer, although they seemed tight.

I think we can take Serge's age at face value, so he's certainly the better choice going forward, subject to the 2021 plan.
