Do you know the difference between how each of these guys calculate their stats? So many names I recognize like synergy, hollinger, nba (lol)...how can the results be that different on offence? Analytics can be so confusing at times lol

Both are points/100 possessions. Likely one is lagging, likely Hollinger?

Both are points/100 possessions. Likely one is lagging, likely Hollinger?

BBREF uses boxscores.
NBA.com uses "actual possessions".
Synergy uses their archiving of possessions.

Synergy is always abit different in totals/PPP because of how they calculate shooting fouls into the equation.

Yup Baynes has been a beast for them as well but I dont think he takes that spot from Ayton though. They just drafted the guy and Baynes is 32 AND is a UFA next year. I think they trade him because he absolutely is playing well enough for 1 last deal and he could make more money than I think PHX will want to pay him. He is only making like 5m though so maybe they get a frp from a playoff type team to help them make a push.
