Another 20+ minute game for a guy who isn’t a NBA caliber player. Remember when the narrative from the apologists was that he was only playing a lot of minutes due to injuries?

I was pissed when Nurse sub out Davis for Fred.. and kept McCaw in in late 4th quarter.

Ugh... when will this madness stop?

Davis was playing great tonight with just 19-min of action.

This dude loves scoring 2 points. He's scored 2 points in 6 games this season, every one of them he was at or over 20 minutes.

There must be some kind of secret metrics and analytics that the entire coaching staff has access to that we dont which is showing them that McCaw is a high impact player who deserves to be playing 20-30 MPG and be closing 4th quarters with the top unit.

The only thing I can think of is that they are trying to fast track his learning curve by keeping him in during high pressure situations, hoping that the switch will be flipped.
If he’s the weakest link, try to make him stronger by forging him in the fire.

Honestly this is some epic level trolling by Nurse. NN can't be this stupid man..I refuse to believe it.

This is already worse than Casey Bargnani 2/19 vs Spurs Come hell or high water

The only logical explanation at this point is that McCaw is more of a team player and "yes man" than TD2 and RHJ. I have a feeling both of those guys do things that arent really representative of the Raptors good image and sportsmanship and are probably rubbing Nurse the wrong way with their attitudes.

I love Rondaes energy but it seems like he strings plays together in 3s. Good and bad.
He’ll get a deflection, a steal and a rebound at one point but then he’ll get a rebound and get blocked, get a block called against him and an ill advised 3 or turn it over.
TD2 must blow assignments or something.
Maybe Nurse is giving McCaw so much run as to not wear down TD2 heading into the playoffs. A college season is 30 something games so it make some sense.

I think he’s getting the JLin treatment. Coach wants to see what he got to offer in the regular season. If he continues to be this bad I will be pissed if he gets the same amount of mins in the postseason.

Meh. Either way, he’s not getting the same minutes post season. But none of the bench is besides Powell and Ibaka.

That's really the bottom line with all this. Our playoff rotation is set.

I heard a comparison on the radio the other day, that the Raps discussions are becoming like the Leafs, where there's constant talk about 4th line players and backup goalies who are inconsequential. If we need to talk about Pat McCaw it's because our top 7 guys are good enough to keep fans happy. That's a good problem to have.

In his return, he does nothing at all while playing 20 minutes (13 more minutes than TD) as Nurse watches the team give away a double digit lead to the Cavs while playing 4 on 5 offensively.

But there's no problem here, right?

So you think TD should play the 3?

2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.
