I leave this here because the future looks so bright. TDII as I said to start the season... is a big deal.

If they played him more he would already be a budding star right now, Rookie of the year conversation. Just look at how fast he is blowing up and the only reason I can even imagine they play him so little, is negotiation reasons or maybe to temper the development.

Norm, FVVsr, Lowry and Spicy could all average 18+ points a game for the season. :o

Definitely tempering the expectations and spoon feeding new experiences to learn from.
He's undrafted...so I imagine some negotiations tactics are in play as well...Gilbert Arenas back in the day as a 2nd round pick hit it big time once he left the Warriors after he blew up and averaged close to 20 PPG in his second season in the L.

I'm so hard right now at the thought of a fully health Raps squad firing away.

MY BODY IS READY.

It was a sweet assist plus he got the deflection to start the fast break in the first place.

We are starting to appreciate little things about McCaw. Is he better than others getting less floor time? I will set that aside for now.

For him to have a game that generates more positive than negative fan reaction, he has to shoot the ball when left open. Pascal shot 17% and kept shooting, if McCaw is going to be a net plus, he has to shoot. I hope he does.

Can't win with some of you.

Yup. The "trade-everybody-whenever-we-trail-anyone-by-a-few-buckets" clowns make the game thread absolutely inhospitable.

Another case I picked up on yesterday:

*Siakam drives without drawing fouls*

:clown: "Siakam has to learn how to draw the foul."

*Siakam chucks 3*

:clown: "Siakam is chucking threes. Already turning into Demar. Got paid and no longer cares. So sad."

*Siakam adjusts his game, drives, and gets to the line*

:clown: "Siakam has bad shot selection."

I would be even more upset if that was the case. What are we showcasing him for ... a 2nd rounder?

Bogdanovic? :uhoh: One can dream right?

Fred and Norm at their best, are playing like store brand Curry and Wade. Same flavour and less expensive.

I thought Spice played ok. Best game since returning. Got to the line, and was pretty active on defence.

I'll bet the shooting will come back for Philly.

Yeah.. he should have retired two seasons ago....
1st ballot HOF next

First ballot HOF...for what? No way.

-He has had a long career..
-flashy dunks,
-winning the dunk contest and
-making the NBA acknowledge Canada...

he has actually done nothing worth being voted in on first ballot.

Those reasons alone actually justify a HOF spot, but you've forgot he killed us in the playoffs, and was the only reason Toronto still has an nba team. Never mind inspiring all the Canadian kids in the game today.

It is insane that Powell is stringing together this scoring stretch with our team healthy.

One must be humble at times like this, but damn there were a few of us who saw this coming for quite a while.

That boasting was very un-Canadian of me.

Sorry.

Norm turned the corner in preseason, during Kobe's camp. That is obvious now.

This game - I puked in my mouth for almost three quarters, jizzed the ceiling for a bit, then resumed puking in my mouth for the last four minutes.
Norman Powell, after Game 5 Pacers dunk: "That's Norman Powell!"
