Nick Nurse Now Holds the Highest Win Percentage in the Regular Season History

Post#1 » by phillipmike » Tue Feb 11, 2020 6:31 am

Not sure if this has been posted already, apologizes if it has.

With the Raps win tonight and the Warriors loss, Nick Nurse has passed Steve Kerr, and now owns the regular season’s highest winning percentage for a head coach in NBA History;

I thought Nurse was overrated and only wins because he has a superstar on his squad?

Spoiler:
He has a rising superstar at least...

The only stain on what he’s doing is his odd obsession with over playing McCaw. I just feel like McCaw is going to cost us a game soon.

Nurse has been incredible this season. Easy COTY selection. I'm looking forward to seeing him out coach Budenholzer again.

McCaw is a glue guy, doesnt deserve the hate he is getting. Took one three last night and made it. Doesnt demand the ball and sticks to his role. Many guys in the league cant do that. Nurse will know how to use him in the postseason

stop it man :lol: don’t do this to yourself. Glue guy ? What have you been watching ? Last night the guy was a big part of why the Timberwolves got back in the game. Dude was running around like chicken with its head cut of smh he was terrible in the first half. It’s so typical of this fan base to overrate players that have few good plays in key moments without looking at what they did all game. There’s a reason why scrubs like pop sow was loved by this fan base. Reminds me of the people that use to defend Brown because he would make 1 or 2 good defensive plays. No way McCaw should be playing as much as he does. Remember who said it when he’s a major part of the reason we lose soon. The signs are there.

That's the problem with this dude. He doesn't do anything. 5 points in 26 minutes last night. It's not like his defence is suffocating to make up for the lack of offence either.

I don't disagree that much with what you're saying here but the bolded bit is not a good argument because there is no way to argue against it since we will likely lose a game in the future no matter what and it'll be easy just to point the finger at him.

There is plenty to find fault with McCaw but this isn't the way to do that.

well he was the only bench player to be a positive all night long. everyone else was all negatives.

Nah, what is typical of this fan base is thinking they know better than the coach with the highest win percentage ever. News flash, you don't know **** compared to our all star coaching staff, and the fact that you actual think you do makes you look foolish.

I mean, they won 15 straight and you are looking for a 'stain'!? Why? How could you possibly think you know something that they don't, it's just ridiculous.

9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.
