Like I would bet on Baynes beating Howard in a shooting contest.
I found this hilarious. Don’t mind me. You would bet on the guy who just made 9 three’s in one game to be the better shooter vs the guy who has not made 9 three’s his whole career. Sign me up
If you have followed me I was never a fan of Centers like Dwight, Perkins and Deandre Jordan throughout their careers, now matter how much hype they got.
My point is that Teams of Today's NBA are much effective when the real Big Men can be highly utilized in the offense. And that I would pick them anyday. I was instantly a fan of Anthony Davis for example when he was drafted. Going back a bit. Pau Gasol, Mehmet Okur, and hell Yao Ming.
It's just a post of me fanboying over bigmen who can do more than just dunk.
Yeah but there used to be lots of post players who could do more than dunk, but were still classic back to the basket post players. But with sophisticated moves, counter moves, soft touches.. McHale, Duncan, Parish, Kareem, Ewing. Hakeem, on and on. Not sure how much guys like that would be valued in this ugly 5 out, 3 point game we have now.
