Like I would bet on Baynes beating Howard in a shooting contest.

I found this hilarious. Don’t mind me. You would bet on the guy who just made 9 three’s in one game to be the better shooter vs the guy who has not made 9 three’s his whole career. Sign me up :D

If you have followed me I was never a fan of Centers like Dwight, Perkins and Deandre Jordan throughout their careers, now matter how much hype they got.

My point is that Teams of Today's NBA are much effective when the real Big Men can be highly utilized in the offense. And that I would pick them anyday. I was instantly a fan of Anthony Davis for example when he was drafted. Going back a bit. Pau Gasol, Mehmet Okur, and hell Yao Ming.

It's just a post of me fanboying over bigmen who can do more than just dunk. :D

Yeah but there used to be lots of post players who could do more than dunk, but were still classic back to the basket post players. But with sophisticated moves, counter moves, soft touches.. McHale, Duncan, Parish, Kareem, Ewing. Hakeem, on and on. Not sure how much guys like that would be valued in this ugly 5 out, 3 point game we have now.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

About the Nets firing Atkinson... these GMs and front offices allowing star players to run the show, and these players that think they are entitled to do so... I just hope it all comes back around to bite them in the ass. They deserve no less.

Long live Masai Ujiri.

And about the Bucks... problems are emerging. Just in time too.

Saw this data and it's crazy

Devin Booker currently in his 5th year just won his 100th game.

Gotta lock up that 2nd seed fellas.

Cant wait to see a combination of Philly/Boston/Miami/Indiana all go against each other in the 1st rd.

Is anyone actually surprised by this? this is a byproduct of the Bud system, aka going all out every single game in order to win the regular season championship. And lo and behold his players are starting to burn out from all that historic point differential stat padding. This exact same thing happened all through his tenure in Atlanta. I know people on here were pissed he passed on coming to Toronto. But I thank God everyday he is coaching the bucks and not our raptors.

Wiggy is sooo passive. Man, if he could just be a ball hawk, he could be a terror. Get that ball! Get that board!! Ugh.

He's just a bad basketball player. No change of team is going to help that.

Something we should be able to take advantage of too, Serge/Marc could do it even if they both prefer to pop

I wonder how many centers will turn into offensive linemen in the playoffs lol

I find it hard to believe that it would be more advantageous bringing the shooting big inside rather than outside. The Lakers do it because their bigs can't shoot and are good at rebounding. Also another disadvantage of this strategy is your bigs take longer to get back on defense.

The only other contending team I could see doing that are the Celtics.

I think the reason for us to use it is while they are good pop bigs neither of them are elite shooters. The Bucks will glady let Marc or Serge get 10 3s up.

I think mixing it up is important anyway and the seal can help Siakam finish against a defense he really struggles with.

The transition game is a good point but if you have their big trapped it makes it 4v4 which is okay I think.

Ok you have me convinced. If it's to mix it up and give the opposing defences different looks, it would be really useful in the playoffs.

Wiggins problem is he doesn't prepare for anything. When he's camping on the wing waiting for a pass he will be standing straight as a board with his arms at his at his sides whereas every other player will have their hand up ready for a pass and knees bent. Same on defense he'll never go into the defensive stance unless the person he's guarding gets the ball whereas a good defender will be setup prior to his man getting the ball. Basically, everything he does is a step late because he's almost always out of position or in the wrong stance.

won't be surprised to see this team struggle to make the 8th seed next season...brent brown isn't a good coach but the main problem is that 2 main players r entitled losers who dont work on their game....no coaching change can change that aspect..
