Before we were the Champs, we were a fanbase filled with angst when it came to playoff time. Join me and a few others in reliving our 2019 Playoff Run during this time of uncertainty. The idea is to watch games, one by one, from last year's playoff run to fill the void of no basketball for the foreseeable future. I think it makes sense to space out the games by a day, so we watch a game every other day. This way we'll have enough games to talk about until May and hopefully, by that point, enough time has passed for actual NBA games to resume.

I've set a time of 7pm for the first game but I'm open to ideas from anyone else on what's the best way we can watch this simultaneously or as close to as possible! If mods can sticky each game thread that would be dope! I'll start with the first game thread but from then on out anybody else can have a shot at it since I know we have a talented and creative bunch!

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, Saturday our boys go to war to start the playoffs against the Magic. Orlando has been one of the hottest teams in the NBA coming into the playoffs. Orlando is 22-9 since the start of February and is currently riding a 4 game winning streak heading into the playoffs with their last loss being against the Raptors on April 1. What looked like a lost season has been salvaged by their first postseason appearance since 2011-12 and their first division title since 2009-10.

Saturday former Raptors T-Ross and DJ Augustin return to SBA as members of the Magic. There are several known scrubs turned Raptors killers on the team including Evan Fournier. Canadian Khem Birch is due to make his first Playoff appearance in his home country.

On my drive to work I was thinking the cable networks should do this, broadcast games from our playoffs last season in the regularly scheduled time slots now vacated. Figured there'd be some kind of license issue though.

Not too worried about that DJ/Vuc PnR combo. In clutch situations we can put two DPOY winners in Kawhi and Marc on that and clamp down. This year is different, we'll win game 1 in a blowout.

I think we come in cocky and drop Game 1. Then Nurse will give them a wakeup call and we'll rattle off 4 straight Ws.

Keep McCaw on the bench and we’ll be fine.

No way we lose this one. This is not your father's DeRozan lead Raptors. We have Kawhi now. This is a different year. Guaranteed blowout win. Also, Lowry will light up Augustin. He doesn't stand a chance.
