So how exactly are they undercounting deaths?

You generally need to look at excess mortality data after the fact to get a clearer picture and with basically every outbreak the numbers end up being higher than the officially reported #'s reported for a whole bunch of reasons.

Yeah, like people not going to the doctor for checkups, or for surgeries, or cancer or heart tests, or stress due to being forceably confined, or starving, or suicides. Frankly, there's so much BS going on that I'm not willing to trust their numbers, even the acuracy of excess mortality.

Yeah, like people not going to the doctor for checkups, or for surgeries, or cancer or heart tests, or stress due to being forceably confined, or starving, or suicides. Frankly, there's so much BS going on that I'm not willing to trust their numbers, even the acuracy of excess mortality.

It's not just looking at numbers more than usual though either. They start to get into things like, well, the numbers were reduced because no one was driving cars for 3 months, etc.. Fun stuff.
