Official NBA Restart General Discussion Thread

Well ladies and gentlemen.... there were a lot of doubters on here and there still are. Hell who knows if the NBA bubble works. But so far so good.

I always had faith the NBA would figure out a way to do it safely (I got the Realgm receipts to prove it). I’m thankful to the players, workers, owners and silver to making this happen. Let’s hope they can commit and continue to do this safely.

It’s been 4 months and somehow, someway, these billionaires figured out how to bring sports back. Tomorrow, we NBA.... again....

WE BACK

July 31st Games:

Jazz vs Pelicans 6:30 PM EST
Clippers vs Lakers 9:00 PM EST

At best, we will be forging our first dynasty in the bubble.
At worst, it's out victory lap.

Either way, my plans are to enjoy the ride and savour every minute. No bickering over bricks, no moaning over McCaw-minutes.

Just pleasure and gratitude.

Unless mods want to lock it, I feel like we should pin this.

I consider the restart an entirely new season

Man I hope the bolded ones are the ones cable-havers can see. Three great games and three dogs.

Yes looking forward to the big game tonight between the Lakers Clippers. Raps also really need to secure that second spot in these games to avoid meeting a top team like sixers or pacers in the first round round. Let the Celts, Heat and others take the hit battling them and the Bucks in the second round before we get to them :)

Utah looking sloppy AF. Gobert has been the only thing keeping this from being a blowout

Zion needs to lose some weight man. It might not be much of An issue now because he’s young but when he starts getting into his late 20’s he’s going to have knee issues. Playing above the rim with all that weight is not going to be good on his knees.

I wish we had Jrue Holiday. I love Vleet but Jrue in his spot would be unreal.

The guy who went 7/19 wanted to hit the game-winning three.

Dont see clippers beating Lakers, unless kawhi or pg catches fire. But Lebron have equal chance of showing up as well.

Love me some PG13, most underrated superstar in the game, top 5 tbh when it matters, not many people have that feel for the moment. Kawhi does, Lowry does, but Lowry doesn't have the same talent. Clips will be deadly in the playoffs if PG & Kawhi stay healthy, nice start to the NBA.
