Surely the Raptors knew about this before? Maybe he's already been tried for this and all accusations have been dismissed. There's always 2 sides. I'm pretty sure he would have been dismissed already if any of this has been tested in a court of law.

Maybe. Allegations of abuse can be impossible to judge without corroboration (e.g. video or other witnesses), an actual trial, or a number of different accusers indicating a pattern of conduct. This only appeared to surface when Griffin missed a support payment, and now he's in line for the Bulls job, which would undoubtedly pay him a lot more, and thereby result in an increase in child support. I'm not saying she's lying, but I know a little bit about matrimonial law. You can't rush to conclusions in these types of matters.
