I mean, I don't think it makes sense for them to do. Cancel the season, and you'll get a few days of heavy coverage, and then people will move on.

Keep the season going, and you can get attention whenever you need (as today has shown).

That said, if the players do decide that this is one of the ways they want to protest, I support them.

Shout out to LeBron James. One of his last attempts to prove he's the greatest.

Im all for this protest but they should continue what they started and keep their voices on this platform

this is a genius move... the owners will budge because lebron makes them all their money. lebron said he wanted real action by the owners.

well, there is no season without the lakers. and lebron is the only one with that individual clout to get this done. and if the owners won't listen to lebron, who the hell will they listen to???

it kinda says to ownership, what sort of relationship do we really have? are we just assets or people?

Exactly what I thought. Although at the same time, it must be hard to get a consensus with so many different voices in the room.

They needed to take a vote and go with the majority. This looks dumb otherwise. The ones playing will be undermining the ones who aren't.
