demar by far, no need to debate/discuss, we did this many times already. siakams better defence still doesnt give him an edge

Demar could probably get us by Boston. I mean, considering Siakam has been pretty bad the majority of this series.

This is a brutally wrong take. Demar was one of the worst defensive players in the NBA and he was one of the least efficient playoff performers in the history of basketball.

I gotta say Demar by a bit. It's time to bring him home Masai!

Still better than Siakam. In the game today, siakam was worse defensively compared to Demar and Siakm's offense all series is **** too

I think it's too soon for that comparison
But demar would definitely not look this bad on offense

DeMar had his best season ever under Nurse's offense

I know but I'm saying we can't compare Siakam's 1st year as a number 1 option to demar who was that for 4+ years
Regardless of the coach

Siakam at the same age as 14-15 DeRozan.
Is there a reason for picking the best years of DeRozan while ignoring Siakam is still in his rookie contract?

DeRozan at 25 (14-15) ORtg: 96 DRtg: 114
DeRozan at 26 (15-16) ORtg: 96 DRtg: 110
Siakam at 25 (19-20) ORtg: 107 DRtg: 105

I agree, I'm just saying Nurse somehow got a ton out of DeMar.

Both very solid players, neither should ever be a number 1 option on a serious team

This take is even worse than the OP's particularly the part about Siakam being worse defensively than Demar.

DeMar was a good ball handler by 2015-2016. He started working with handle life and it unlocked it his game. The footwork in the post, the mid range shooting, getting to the rim, the passing.

People don't understand if you haven't played but hey just think about it this way. Name an elite point guard, shooting guard or small forward/win who couldn't dribble.

Can't really be done.

Pascal will not make the transition to an NBA wing until he tightens his handle. It just isn't impossible. All of you guys asking for him to practice pulls ups and all these other specific shots need to understand he can't pull them off if he cant even get to them or create opportunities to take them by using his dribble in a triple threat position
