Re: Im still betting on PSKILLS
with his "style of play", he cannot be a number one option. A player like Zach Lavine can be a number option.
Norman has the "style of play", I had hoped that somehow Norman could reach that level of consistency but the bubble has settled it.
I am still betting on PSKILLS but as a number two option.

He got max money because of Kawhi Leonard. What was the rush to sign him when he had a year left? Siakam sucks balls.

That was rough as it gets for him. Hopefully he keeps working on his shooting, cause he was basically toast after he lost all confidence in it. Also hope he regains his close range shot making that made him so good last yr.

Me too. I've been pouring it on him in the other thread but he's still a good competitive player. Continue to develop his skills and get stronger mentally so he doesn't freak the **** out like he did here. Considering the other adversities he's faced, basketball shouldn't be the one that gets him shook. He'll bounce back.

Great run by the boys, and honestly the more I think about it the more sure I am Pascal and FVV are going to have a chip on their shoulder and come back twice as strong next year... you think these Celtics will fare so much coming into our arena for game 7?
Celtics, Raptors, Heat and Bucks will battle in the playoffs going forward.. Tip your hat to the celtics, learn from this.
Bottom line, Hell of a series, some great wins, this one a devestating loss. Lowry, Siakim, FVV, Ibaka, Powell, Thomas, X FACTORS and run it back again next year in front of the fans.

My advice: lay off the video games. Happened to 2 players in NHL. I hear the same thing about Embiid.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Re: Im still betting on PSKILLS
Kyle Lowry is the PERFECT mentor for him...
Nobody got slandered worse then Lowry did for his playoff performances 4-5 years ago and Lowry was
29-30 years old at that point. Siakam is only 26 and it's not his fault that his coach is trying to make
him something he's not as a ball handling Point Forward/SF.
He's better suited as a PF but because Ujiri gave him a horrible contract he now has to live up to
most likely unrealistic expectations.
He's basically Lamar Odom at this point

He'll be fine. He's a hard worker. Have him re-focus on his post game and mid range this off season. Once that gets going again then he can work on his 3 point shooting.

When he said he didn't pick up a basketball for 4 months during the lockdown, that was a red flag. It speaks to poor work ethic.
I'd look to trade him.

Player who could ostensibly have won MIP two years in a row - poor work ethic
right.

I think we will pump him up next season and probably trade. Need a +1 somehow and one that puts the work in no matter what and doesn't choke in big games.

Yes he had two rounds where he was a bottled up no show. Both suffered similarly in the half court.

Pascal should not have abandoned basketball for 4 months like he did... Practice and experience builds confidence in your moves. Whenever he made a move to the basket, his body language was as if he was unsure how he was going to finish. Hopefully this is a lesson for him and he never takes more than a week off again.

This needs to stop as an excuse.
He got paid a max contract and had historically one of the worst performances in NBA playoff history. That isn't even hyperbole. The numbers back it up.
No, Tim Duncan played at Wake Forest at 17
