Simmons would be deadly in a run and gun system. Trade Embiid for a second star, trade Horford and bring in Dantoni.... 55 wins a season easy. East is going to be stacked next year so doesn't matter what you do, no guarantees of playoff success. But at least you can build a functioning and fun team.

I understand why Dantoni would want to leave Houston (team is stagnant and not realistic contenders) but then why go to the 76ers who are pretty much in the same boat?

How would Embiid fit in Dantoni's system?

Anyways, Dantoni is a top coach and would make the 76ers a better team.

If he joins them, we may go from #1 in our division to #4 next season. Celtics, Nets, 76ers look like they're going to come back stronger while we're going to get weaker.
