Till this day I am shocked Pau havent return to play out one season for Barcelona, right now I feel he is too washed up even for that team. what was he thinking corpising in the NBa past few years? Marc However could still be pretty great ACB/Euroleague player.

I think he’s got a year or two of nba rotation player left but if he’s won his ring and had a great nba career so I can’t blame him for going home for his twilight years

I think Barca was the first pro team he ever played on back when he lived in Spain.

I think Pau said he wanted to go back but this was before Covid now idk

Oh right, he did play for them, it was before he was any good, so I forgot I think Pau shut down those rumors a few times.

I think he can easily get the 1-year MLE from a team this off-season.

This is good PR wise rather than low-balling him and his signing elsewhere.

It would be fun for both brothers to play with a Euroleague team. Less games and maybe Pau only has to play 12-16 mpg.

Given how bad COVID is in America I'd return to a sanely-run country for sure.

Wherever he goes, I will appreciate his time here and his efforts to bring the Title to Toronto, Marc had a wonderful HoF type career and he can do whatever he wants at this point, he has earned the respect of the Basketball world.

It didn’t end really pretty if this is it with the Raps but I’ll always have fond memories of Marc being a key contributor to the championship run, and a legend during the parade.

Nowadays, Euroleague teams end up playing around the same amount of games as any NBA team, and considering ACB level, not like you can really play second fiddles in domestic front.

I would be good with giving him around that on a 1 year deal. Since own his Bird rights can use the MLE on 1 or 2 other players.

I would give him a little more than the MLE so most good teams would not be able to beat that.

$10 million / 1 year; the psychology of it still being an 8 figure salary would be respect.

I wonder if he just considers retirement in Spain? Who knows how long covid is going to last and when a vaccine is widely distributed. Next season could be a wash too. At that point Marc hits 36 probably. Things won’t be the same for a bit

you have our blessings Marc, you'll always be a champion and loved by us. The guy is super under appreciated, you don't think we'd likely win the finals if we faced AD and Jokic? He just ran into a bat match up vs Bos.

Especially if he could win a Euroleague title, could be good for his legacy/HOF consideration.
