2. I came across this hilarious open letter from a WSU fan bitching about how ungrateful Flynn was chasing his NBA dream (see below). Feel free to have a quick laugh.
3. you know someone is really good when people get this salty about it.

Malachi Flynn announced on Twitter that he's leaving Washington State. He offered up a syrupy thanks for everything that omitted the key point: he’s in pursuit of a higher-profile program. Transfers happen, with increasing regularity in college hoops, but Flynn's decision is just plain unsavory.

Here’s why: WSU and Ernie Kent not only took a chance on him when nobody else would, but they gave him the opportunity to learn and grow in real time.
WSU gave him the opportunity to compete on a major stage. Kent provided him the playing time — and the green light — to develop his game. Kent let him handle the ball at crunch time, something no other coach thought he was capable of coming out of high school. In other words, Kent invested heavily in the young man.
Flynn averaged 15.8 points, 4.25 assists and a team-leading 33.4 minutes per game. In other words, the skinny guard nobody wanted in 2016 had truly arrived in 2018.
Sounds promising.
Flynn was given a golden opportunity at Washington State -- and for that every day, two-year investment in him by coaches and support staff, Flynn doesn't repay WSU with gratitude or allegiance. No, he says it’s in “my best interest” to move on.
Mr. Pacific thinks he's hot stuff now that Kent and his staff have developed him into a bona fide major conference player. Mr. Pacific thinks he's too good to see through the commitment he made to help WSU rebuild the program.

Congrats to Malachi on chasing his NBA dream and getting drafted by us! We got ourselves a good one boys.
