I used to be a recording artist and I was gonna do a song with them for $500. I didn’t do it because I picked a different style, and looking back, it was a good call. Talk about a 1 hit wonder.

though it is early in the camp, I was a bit surprised by Nurse's initial assessment about his shooting..Len has such a great form/mechanics for a big man. With his size and mobility, I was hoping that he could somehow surprise everyone and beat out Baynes for the starting spot.
His scale looks about 5.5 until further evidence under Raps uniform

I don't even know how to make sense of this scale. That's like asking how big something is from 1 to 10, 1 being a golf ball and 10 being the sun.

I think it's pretty easy TBH. Here's a scale based on top 10 picks C's only:

1- Hoffa

2- Olowokandi

3- Kwame Brown

4- Bismack Biyombo

5- Keon Clark

6-Jonas Valanciunas

7- DeMarcus Cousins

8- Patrick Ewing

9- David Robinson

10- Shaq

If he is 3 or lower, yikes!

edit:
I looked into Kwame's stats and surprisingly, he averaged 11ppg once. It was in 30mpg though where as Len averaged 11ppg in 20mpg once.

I don’t know why Olowokandi is the bar for a 2, he averaged 12/9/2 a couple of times, was a solid enough centre in his day. He’s at least Bismack level.

Also, Len to me is comparable to Jakob, skilled in many ways with good size, but not a very fluid player who is great in short bursts or the right matchup, but isn’t going to consistently offer an offensive threat and can get bullied by stronger or more skilled bigs at times.

Just his rebounding ability alone and how much we need that give’s him a 4 for me because it’s going to get us extra shots. Here’s a better question. What would you have given bismack when we signed him ? I’m sure it was under a 5. All you have to do is bring back the bismack signing thread. Very few people rated him until he was getting us a bunch of extra shots and protecting the rim better than JV and Serge. Sometimes it’s the teams need and you can’t always look at how a player was used on another team. Alex Len was probably looked at as a guy that needed to score on the Hawks and Kings. We don’t need him to do that here. We just need him in a bismack role and if he can make some shots then that’s a big bonus. Len was on scrub teams where he was needed to do more since he was a rookie. The same with bismack which is why he looked much better here without taking more than 2 shots per game. He was simply playing with better players in a winning system that made his strengths stand out.

Almost nothing can be worse than bubble Marc gasol. Seriously look up the stats. We blame pascal and that’s fine but I’m convinced that we beat Boston with 2019 Marc

If we could turn Kris Humphries and Biz into stars, we can turn Len, Baynes, and Boucher into the most feared frontcourt in the league.

I think he's better than Biyombo by a lot. So I think he'll be good in our system

There was so much hype about Gasol getting into amazing shape to prepare for the bubble. We all got hoodwinked.

IMO, The Kandi man put up numbers on awful teams, and was force fed those numbers and minutes to justify his draft slot. He didn't have a positive impact at all. That said I didn't watch a ton of his games, but the ones I did he just...couldn't play winning ball at the NBA level. Robotic on offense, too slow to react on defence, the combo of Bismack O and worse than JV D.

Kwame was a pretty decent defender, and obviously was on some good teams.

Bismack was a 1 dimensional specialist, that could play on a winning team.

Keon was a talented, but extremely inconsistent enigma.

JV was a solid starter you can win with, but not contend with.

DeMarcus a star, possibly flawed.

Ewing a franchise player, but maybe not a the driver of a championship team.

David Robinson an MVP calibre player

Shaq - multiple MVP, Finals MVP generational player
