This is actually kind of exciting. Now that our rose goggle wearing fans have enough evidence to see we’re not winning anything with this core, it should make it easier on Masai and Bobby to make the tough decision to start tearing it down. I’m going to have so much fun watching our young guys develop with longer leashes and expanded roles. Can’t wait to see what kind of assets we can get.

As long as Lowry, Norm and Boucher can be traded before that happens I'm fine with it.

Everything is coming together for the Raptors getting a high lottery pick this year.

The season is more enjoyable thinking this way. Getting a top 5 pick is difficult.

Also he can shoot so Simmons isn't really a comparison either.

I like the Tatum comparison. Tatum is more of a scorer where as Cunningham looks more like a facilitator but I think they have a lot of similar attributes.

I'm not so sure about that. They both are really good players next to superstar talent. I would be surprised if there wasn't interest for both players.

While I'm sure the valuations of all the Raptors assets will vary, I think it's safe to say they are all positive in some realm. With this Harden trade you have to hope a team is desperate to make their own splash and is willing to overpay.

Unfortunately I believe both FVV and Boucher can't be traded until March 3rd.

Hate to see Lowry go but I don't want to lose him for nothing at seasons end... hopefully Masai gets a great offer at trade deadline and we cash in on Lowry and norm....
