I absolutely could not stand Stanimal. I thought it was the worst thing ever when we took him on. I will admit he's been one hell of a surprise so far this year. If he somehow adds a 3 and becomes a good rotation player then Masai is either God or the Devil.

The problem is when Stanley and OG are on the court at the same time I can’t tell who is who.

This seems like it should be true but so far it's been the opposite.

Stanley with OG: 115.0 ORTG
Stanley w/out OG: 93.4 ORTG
OG w/out Stanley: 109.3 ORTG

Curious. Where did you find this stat?

Nurse plays OG / Johnson to confuse the other team, as they can't tell which is which. Sort of a "twin confusion"
OK it just confuses me!

Stanley on the inside/mid range is more effective than taking perimeter shots.

His defense has been OG-like. It’s too bad he’s so useless on offense. I do like that he’s not forcing up shots like RHJ did, he should just be running around setting screens off the ball, cutting, and crashing the offensive glass

If Stanley added a 3, he’d go from fringe NBA player to a hot commodity, like a OG/Covington type.

If we turn Stanley into a solid player everyone around the league will take notice. I been telling people he will take time after Detroit screwing him over and having his mother pass around when he was drafted. His mother was a big reason he started playing ball. He seems to have bought into his role. A good sign so far.

I don't see RHJ forcing shot until the game does not matter once we got the home court for the playoffs.
I thought it was intended to get a lower seed by not winning that much.

Can't believe I would ever say that.

I forgot Boucher fouled out, but I was mad Nurse didn't make defensive substitutions. We were too small on that last possession. Whereas Kerr took Curry out for their last defensive possession. Going offense-defense is good basic coaching.

I thought I was the only one.

It's mainly that their hair looks so similar from the distance of the tv camera.

I always thought he was a decent defender, even dating back to Detroit. Only one small issue:

He might be the worst offensive player I’ve ever seen.

Somehow, and I’m not sure how this is possible, he’s shooting even worse than his 37% fg, 29% 3pt stats from last year.

I just realized that Stanley Johnson has never cracked 50% TS in his career. That has to be historically bad.

He's currently scoring on a career low 43% TS, lol.

Five-star recruit. Before the 2015 draft, there were people who compared him to Kawhi lol.

I've been pleasantly surprised by Stanley's defensive impact so far. Unfortunately, he's allergic to scoring. He's like the SF version of Ben Wallace.
