Oladipo to Rockets for LeVert

Does this increase Raptors chance of signing Oladipo in the off-season? I doubt he stays with the Rockets.

dipo isn't better than lowry and you'd have to renounce lowry to get dipo

Lowry at age 35-40? Lowry is underrated but he isn't going to carry this franchise at the end of his career.

Heat are definitely on Oladipo's list...but Raptors are as well according to the report a couple months ago, which Oladipo denied but we all know it's real.
It has been known that Victor Oladipo is looking to move on from the Indiana Pacers but it looks like he wants it to happen before he becomes a free agent in 2021. According to J. Michael of the Indianapolis Star, Oladipo was telling opposing players that he would like their team to acquire him in a trade.
One of those teams was the Raptors along with the Miami Heat and New York Knicks according to the report

I don't think the Rockets traded LeVert and a 2nd rounder just to let Oladipo walk without seriously pursuing an extension.

Have you seen him play this year? He's not at 2018 level but he's definitely not "washed". Still a good shot creator that can guard.

I wouldn't be surprised if Houston simply lets him walk away for nothing. Considering Tillman's track record of cheaping out.

He is cheap and they got under the luxury tax with this deal, but Oladipo makes more than LeVert this year. If he really wanted to cheap out send him to another team for more picks/guys on rookie deals.

Pacers made out like bandits. They play better without dipo anyway and LeVert has more potential imo especially considering dipo hasn't been the same since his injury.
