Last saw them play in 2015.

Pre nba Murray was leading the way along with Bennett(lol) and I think Sim Bhullar got some action too. I hope our entire nba talent pool will suit up for team Canada at some point.

Grange on William Lou show just recapping Shae's great attitude and commitment. Feels that sometime down the line having Nick as coach will mean a slight advantage bringing a Canadian FA to Raptors.

And for team Canada. Both him and Boucher will now have no contract issues for the 2023 WC and the 2024 Olympics. Now just need to stay healthy (and Boucher needs to want to play).

Team Canada Basketball Thread V3.0

Game day!!!
Excited to see Shai play! I feel like he is THE key to our success this cycle. If he plays in the World Cup with a consistent roster and a little bit of chemistry, we will be at the next Olympics!

Something that I haven’t seen anywhere, but worth mentioning… buy Primo stock today! San Antonio are in tank mode. He is one of only 2 guards on the roster and they not expected to add much.

He will be given a LONG leash and as much playing time as he can handle. Could play his way into the national team fold. Not sure he was asked to be part of the “14”, but he might be brought in next summer.

So the odd guys out are Best, Chery, Mukuma, and Morgan.

Decent change at least a couple of these guys make the roster for the game at USVI?

Thanks for posting this. I'm a mini skpetic on Edey (I clearly understand his is much more valauble in FIBA though) but it's encouraging to hear Nurse talk about him so glowingly.

A couple of us are speculating they drop the four NBA players when they leave to USVI and then these 4 come in.

Far from certain, but they did that in 2018 when playing Brazil and then none of the NBA players went to Chile.

Seems like the right 12. Chery is better than Keane in a vaccum, but as the 12th man Keane is likely there for other reasons. Experience, history, committment, chemistry...

My Rogers on screen guide, when I scroll ahead to 7 pm tonight, says the game is in Santo Domingo. Even names the arena lol.
