Brutal news about Gillespie not being able to play because he has to clear protocols. With Bembry's absence due to suspension the "team" is down to eight players. If Baynes gets into fouls trouble it will have to be Pascal and Boucher and OG battling Vuc.

I have never seen a team so undermanned.

Nurse has been getting a lot of flack this season, but it's pretty undeserved more often than not. He's had no starting-level C all season, players have been in and out of the lineup like never before and the bench players have been wildly inconsistent. Last game and tonight for instance, we'll have 8 available players. One true PG (rookie Flynn), one true C (the awful but better lately Baynes), a few end-of-bench players (Stanley and Yuta), Boucher and 3 of our 5 starters. I expect another blowout loss.

It's wild that this team has the 7th worst record through all of this, yet also the 14th best NetRTG and point differential (both positive). We should be a lot better than 20-31 lol.

I hope Vuc does to Pascal/Boucher what OG did to Schroder. And Vuc, Pascal and Boucher all get suspended for the rest of the season.

Maybe I'm crazy.. but if you put this exact same team in Toronto to start the year instead of Floriday, we are 5th in the East at worst. That's why I believe in the 1 year tank.

It's crazy, because the broadcast/ beat-writers / Twitter personalities are all still selling fans on the play-in game. I don't think people understand how awful a scenario that is for us.
