That dunk to win the game against Detroit was electrifying.

I can live with his lack of 3 point shooting because he worked at it and clearly doesn’t have the skill set for it. What annoyed me was his bad defense, esoecially for a guy who idolized Kobe, you’d think he’d be more dialed in defensively, at least during the playoffs and other key moments but instead plenty of scrubs went off against him.

He’s developed into an excellent playmaker though. Dude was just born too late, he would’ve been labeled a franchise player before the 3 point shot era.

All that being said, the guy loved this franchise and indirectly helped this franchise win a title so I’ll always be a fan

Derozan had his best year when they decided to give Nurse more leeway in the offensive scheme while Casey was still the head coach.

He would fit terribly with Siakam. They’re both 3/4’s in the modern game who aren’t good shooters. Siakam is on pace IMO to be a better defending and shooting Demar.

It’s unbelievable to me such a “hard worker” hasn’t improved his shot in over a decade.

Highly disagree.
Siakam is most effective as a secondary scorer rather than primary, while Demar has no problem being the primary scorer. I think they can both compliment each other.

I can’t think of a worse fit for either guy.

Both need 4 shooters around them. Putting a non shooter beside them is just asking for trouble.

Both are most effective as a 4.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Demar's looking to get paid like a number 1-2 option when he's really an elite 6th man on a contender.

After watching him blow defensive assignments on Kyle Korver in the playoffs it was pretty apparent his offense doesn't make up for his lack of perimeter coverage.

It was enlightening read Norms Tribune piece on how DD in college Wasa SoCal icon in the pecking order with Kobe at the top. Also what a good teammate he was.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.
