Masai really sees the big picture

Still going to beat Orlando probably

Raptors will still beat Orlando. I only wished last night that both Pascal and OG were rested on a back to back yesterday. This last week has been terrible for "tanking". Without the 3 wins against the Cavs, Wizards and Spurs last night- this team would be 5th from the bottom. Masai should instruct Nurse to start Baynes again for the rest of the year.

At least make up injuries to avoid a fine. How does Lowry need rest when he barely plays anymore?

We have by far the hardest schedule remaining after this next week of bball so hopefully by some fluke we end up in the Top 5, however unlikely...

They need to sit OG as well

Sure with every tank game, so does a member of Masai Bobby Nurse regime.Deep dives come at a cost, you simply cannot say 1 year.

There was a sideline shot of Nurse repetitively playing with this wedding band during the Raps run in the second half. I thought he looked tense in a way that coaches generally do NOT when their team is playing well. I guess he was worried about Masai's reaction if the Raps won.

But why didn't he just play Stanley? It was the obvious tank move.

Lol Nurse not challenging the obvious no call on Siakam was also telling.. 3 min to go in game with othet team making a run and Nurse tells Siakam to shut his mouth

I can see Fvv trying to empty the clip in hopes to sabotage the tanking effort. Its the competitiveness in him knowing the management doesn't believe our current core is enough plus someone else may come in and take the ball away from him next year.

2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

After the OKC game this Sunday, there's a slight chance we lose 14 in a row to close out the season. Would be awesome. We definitely have a tougher remaining schedule than the Bulls, Wizards, Cavs, and Magic.
In Masai We Trust :meditate:

Cleveland and Washington seem like two teams that are going to go for the play in. They don't seem to have any intention of sitting their guys and they've been living in the lottery the past few years now. Time for them to take the next step. We are tanking harder than every team in the league right now. If we fall short you can't say we didn't try.

I wonder how much of this is due to the tank vs. the insane schedule. I guess we’ll find out going forward

It's likely that the Raptors beat the Magic, but I think the Magic have a chance here, especially with the Raptors sitting Lowry/Siakam/Anunoby. The Magic are terrible, sure, but they play very hard, Okeke and WCJ are two promising young players who have been showing out lately, and they have some useful vets such as T-Ross/James Ennis/Gary Harris (who came over in the Aaron Gordon trade). Gary Harris in particular seems to be taking more and more minutes away from rookie RJ Hampton, which helps the Magic's chances of beating the Raptors IMO. If a few more things go their way, like Dwayne Bacon not trying to shoot them out of a game for once, then the Raptors have a slightly better chance at losing this than we think.

Raps should sign someone off the street for the stretch run and give them plenty of PT. I volunteer as tribute
