Not saying they are and not saying they aren't but the truly sad thing is that even if they did pull off such a miracle, there are a lot of people around here that would either call it fake and/or call a 2nd round loss(if that is where it ended) "pointless", and "not worth giving up 5 draft slots for"

Even if it was the Sixers, I'd be overjoyed to beat those losers in round 1.

Everyone saying "nEtS sWeEp fIrSt rOuNd" like They're likely to catch the sixers with all these injuries. Its gonna be the sixers, who we match up.well with and could make interesting.

And thats even if we get there. Maybe we only make the play in game and lose, and keep the lottery pick.

I have a feeling Raps will rest starters again. Basically this was a couple games of "ok, you think you can win now that we're back to striking distance, fine... play against these playoff teams and we'll see after that".

This play in tournament is literally a participation medal for a bunch of men who make 30 million dollars.

The play in isn't the worst idea. Especially if the league shortens the season which is something NBPA has wanted for a long time. The western play in is good. Team10-7 are all fairly close. I'd prefer they played more than single game elimination though. Maybe if only the 8th spot was up for grabs and 7 and 8 played single game, and 9-10 played single game and then a best of 3 for that 8th spot. I know people think what's the point of fighting for the 8th spot for a team that is most likely going to get their as*es handed to them, but there are a lot of teams who need it just to maintain a decent fanbase. Some of you might remember how the Hawks had whole empty sections worth of seats in their playoff games.
