Watch the 4th quarter if you can. Clutch shot after clutch shot.

Superstar.

But here's the thing....we all know his knee can't hold up for 4 series of this. Clippers using up like 75% of kawhi just on the first round and they don't have FVV, the illest, to carry them through the semis and finals.

Plus kawhi is gonna have to be superhuman in gqme 7 for them to win and then probably one day of rest til game 1 vs jazz.

28-14 free throw advantage for the Clippers despite being on the road. Either the NBA just wants Game 7 revenue, or is outright helping the Clips advance per some backroom dealings with Ballmer.

Kawhi simply came through... took over. Mavs need a superstar performance from Doncic to win. Porzingis is not a factor.
Prediction
Spurs in 7. Parker MVP. Lebron 6-17fg, 18pt, 8reb, 5 asst in game 7 LOSS.
The Heat will choke!

Yeah, this exact thought occurred to me. He was even limping at one point in the game, two series ahead of his usual limping schedule. No way he gets through to the Finals.

Frustrating to watch Mavs shoot so badly, although their defence is better than I expected. This is still the team that Malachi and Jalen almost beat by themselves.

I was thinking that too. PG was ok, but if Batum. Morris and Kennard would hit some open 3's they'd have won more easily.

They'd be on their way to three-peating.

ESPN talking heads would be talking about Kawhi as potentially better than Lebron.

Steelo and Pooh would be saying 8-seed in 7.

Salty Lakers fans would be saying double or triple asterisk.

I thought getting Rondo at the deadline was a key move for the Clips, but he really didn't do much the last 2 games.

And I almost forgot Serge is on their team.

it would be crazy if Mavs were to win game 7, but I just don't see either team winning another round, the way they play, this was the same situation that LAC was in last year playoff in the bubble - lack of production from the rest of the players...the era where you have 2 all-stars / superstars on your roster is coming to end.

Mavs need to surround Luka with shooters, otherwise, this will be the same result as it was Dirk; where they kept on losing every year due to lack of 2nd /3rd guy on the team.

I'm so happy that Utah, Denver & Phoenix are in the conference semis, it bodes well for Toronto as well none of the hyped LA teams will be competing for the NBA championship.

Yeah they reported his back was acting up again a couple games ago when he went back to street clothes.

Dallas is really missing Reddick. All they would need is an extra 3 or 4 three pointers per game during clutch moments and Reddick is a pretty damn good playoff performer imo.
