Nice work!
Outside of the $3 mill or so left on the MLE, looks like we’re done this off season…unless they trade Dragic to an ever increasingly desperate Mavs team…or Siakam gets traded to the GSW for Wiggins, Wiseman, Kuminga and Moody…so ya, I guess we’re done!

How much Cap-Space are we projected to have next off-season?

Not a single untradable contract.
What poor asset management…

Damn, didn't think this roster would be so close to the tax line. Probably because I'm not considering Dragic actually part of the team.

Also cool that our players are paid very fairly. You go from top to bottom in descending annual salary and it pretty much matches the best to worst players pretty closely. Scottie Barnes being unknown, but his spot above Boucher looks pretty reasonable.

12 players under contract if they guarantee Yuta and Freddie G. That would leave 3 roster spots and 2 2-ways for the 2nd round picks and SL roster to compete for. Champagnie currently has a 2-way but I recall that it's non-guaranteed. Considering how close they are to the tax, I doubt they use the rest of the MLE on anyone. It looks like there's a lot on the line in the SL.
It makes sense why they waived Watson and Bembry now too.

How the heck is Trent making more than OG over the next few years. Unless he improves significantly, this was an overpay once again.

GTJ is getting paid market value. It's actually OG that is significantly underpaid.

Because one player reached free agency, other extended early.

So, we have 12 players signed for 133,800,726.
3 minimum salary contracts to rookies = 925,000 x 3 = 2,775,000
133,800,726 + 2,775,000 = 136,575,726
Luxury Tax Threshold = 136,600,00
So we'd be 24,274 under the luxury tax. Super tight, but we'd be under. But wait!
Two way contracts are worth up to 449,155, and if we sign 2 of those, that would be potentially an additional 898,133. Conveniently, that's approximately the same amount of money as 1 minimum salary contract to a rookie.
Does anyone know if two ways count against the luxury tax threshold? If they do, it looks like signing those would put us over, unless we run a 16 player roster (which we could easily do).
Therefore, I predict that barring any trades, we will be running a 16 player roster (with two guys on two way contracts), and not a full 17 player roster.

He should have entered the free agency market...homeboy would have gotten paid

One more thing, Gary Trent is reported 3/54, wait for details on that one, I am sure the number is a little inflated with bonuses.

Two-way contracts are not included in team salary calculations.

Yay? what exactly are you giving them credit for? Not overpaying anyone on a team that's most likely out of the playoffs? It's not like we have many hot commodities that other franchises are fighting for which we managed to land for a fair price. The only reasonably good contract is OG.
I swear some people just go out of their way to give Masai/bobby praise.

Ah, thanks! So a full 17 player roster it is, then.

Giving credit for managing assets well, lol.
You think the team is trash, got it. I’m sire you thought the raps were trash in 2017-2018 too. Yet that team had all the pieces it needed to convert to a chip.
Go outta my way to praise Masai? Hardly.. not that that is a bad thing considering that by all accounts, Masai was the most sought after sports exec in the world.. yeah, all those other organizations must not have been able to see Masai for the goof that he is, like you have Chandan, kudos to you and your foresight.
I swear, some posters go out of their way to whine bout everything. Who hurt ya’ll? Sorry, I forgot, keep ‘keeping it real’!

Its very confusing praise because we literally lost our entire championship starting lineup for pretty much Precious and Dragic.
I didn't say it's POOR management, it's not great either. just wanted to point out here are definitely some homer's here who have no idea what they are talking about when speaking about asset management. And then having the gull to row his eyes on the topic as if they are onto something, simply laughable.
Sure just let everyone go for nothing, end up not having long term any contracts is a sure fire way to remain flexible
