Based on 1 summer league game, both are headed to the hall of fame.

if you can choose between 2 impact players, pick the one with freakish physical measurements

I can see this as the argument for years to come. If Suggs has a better career than barnes, raptor fans will never let masai live this down

This was pretty ridiculous. His athleticism will easily play. His rebounding was crazy too.

Re: The too early Suggs vs. Barnes thread
Scottie has the edge because he plays for the Raptors and not the magic. The raptors have a way better player development staff than the magic.
Most of the draft picks would rather play for Toronto than the magic. Even if Scottie turns out to be the better player, it's hard to know how well Suggs would have been.
I think we need to stop worrying about Suggs. We have Scottie, lets move on from comparing these two.

Hopefully it's not the Drummond/T-Ross debate all over again... However, my guess is this one will be magnified/debated way more.

Re: The too early Suggs vs. Barnes thread
I want to see Scottie try some pullup shots in meaningless summer league games, the ability to make those type of shots separates guys imo. He played too much as a hand off, stand in the corner guy last game...need to see more of his game.

Suggs with the raps development.... If Jalen somehow becomes a star in the crap factory, he's special

I wanted Suggs pre-draft, but I'll give the cop out meme answer of trusting Masai/Bobby/Tolzman

They're both gonna be great. Barnes is more rare and higher ceiling. Better fit on an elite development team like ours. Couldn't have gone wrong with either pick. I know it's only been one game but winning wise it seems like Barnes & Suggs > Green. Better 2 way players.

Re: The too early Suggs vs. Barnes thread
I definitely see the potential in Barnes and believe that potential (size, athleticism, skillset) was worth it at 4. Player that’s 6’9 making full court passes with his left hand in transition I mean that’s not something you can teach… that’s Lebron ****… you would never see og anunoby or even siakam doing that…
But I feel part of the reason they went away from Suggs as well is because they still love fvv too much… Suggs is probably better than fvv already as a rookie… at the end of the day though, Barnes was the right pick based on the direction of the team… I really wish nurse changed his game plan though and went big and stopped using fvv as the primary play initiator… now that you have Barnes, make use of his strengths as a facilitator and use fvv off the ball…
I swear if nurse starts fvv and Flynn together or some bull ****, holy I would metaphorically lose it…

That looks like a foul? He got the guys elbow I thought.
Edit: don't get me wrong Suggs played well
