Seeing Dowtin at these runs is encouraging. I really think he can be a contributor for us this year. He’s 25 years old, so I expect the team thinks he can too (as a 9th/10th/11th man maybe?). I think he can grow and break into those Precious, Otto, Thad, Boucher minutes in addition to the couple he can get on his own.

Gonna be interesting to see who steps up from that Flynn, Champagnie, Dalano, Dowtin. Birch group. Edit: I guess Svi and Wilson are in this group too but I dont think Wilson makes the cut. Koloko and RHjr I fully expect to be G League guys this first year, who knows though. They might surprise us.

Yeah, for me it was how quick his feet looked when he backed up a step and took a run at the guy. The defender got off balance from that point on and was susceptible to whatever Pascal was going to throw at him.

He's not on our team but I would like to see what a fit Harden can do. God made him chunky but if he can get that explosiveness back it would be nice to see him blow by people again.

Harden looks lean to me. I think it's just the baggy t-shirt and big beard make him look fatter.

I wouldn't be surprised if Toronto is a top 5-6 team in the league this year. Just considering the 2nd half of last season and how many players we'll have coming back with deeper experience and offseason development, along with improved chemistry and elite coaching --- centered around an all-NBAer entering his peak prime. Everything is converging nicely. We know with almost absolute certainty that Precious, Scottie, and Pascal are coming back stronger, given Scottie's and Precious' development curves and Pascal being held back by injury last year. Gary, Fred, and OG should all be as good, if not better. If Gary gets more consistent, we're set.

I also notice he has more knee bend and straight back in his handle which will aid him in keeping balance, being strong and explosive.
