Just goes to show how much a narrative can take on a life of its own and be completely overblown.

Really, this is just consistent with everything I've read about Dragic on the Heat board and elsewhere. Good teammate, selfless, works hard, sacrifices etc. I don't think he stated anything unusual be saying he hoped to have landed with a contender, but he's a professional by all accounts.

I don't see Goran buying real estate in the burbs if he's intent on moving at the trade deadline, so he's probably got a rental condo on the waterfront just like the young guys. He has a wife and 8-year old son. Do they come to Toronto for 6 months or stay in Miami and figure out where he's going to be in February / March? It's likely that they stay in Miami for now and someone does the commute.

Maybe Dragic is here to stay after all……until the trade deadline

Team Negative will have to change tactics from Goran not wanting to be here to Goran is partying too much and a bad influence on our young players.

The office district is a weird place to "hang out", but the weather last night was perfect - until the rains game.

I really don't see how Freddie G (unguaranteed) and Dekker can make this roster, but they're fun guys to have around. "Scotland" Barnes indeed.

I know it looked like he played poorly in the summer league - but the SL style of play does not fit well with him at all. Too many guys just trying to show off their offensive skill sets, with an up and down pace. Not saying he won't get cut, but the Raps I'm sure want to see him in more regular game action, half court sets etc.
