Love Scottie so far, but no way he goes higher than 4. That said, he was more impressive than expected in his first game. Started kinda iffy, but once he settled his nerves, you could really see the makings of a great NBA player.

With the 1st pick, in the 2003 NBA Draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers select, Scottie Barnes from West Palm Daycare.

So what have we learned?

the offense sucks
OG cannot be a 20 ppg guy
Scottie will be lucky to average 8 points a game
Precious is an offensive liability beyond 5 ft from the rim
Scottie can't guard PGs
Dragic is washed up
we are lottery bound

oh wait. i'm not a hater... we killed it.

The Scottie era has begun

That was a great first game back. The young guys all looked great. Yuta and Svi should still be getting minutes once Trent and Boucher get back.

Looks like Barnes is going to be able to more than hold his own against Suggs, in the short term and long term.

As it stands NOW, I don't disagree....

But if he follows a developmental path anything like Siakam or better yet OG did, may be higher than that....

Svi and Yuta has been impressive tonight

This team is going to be so much fun to watch this season. Yeah they may be frustrating in the halfcourt, but crazy D, tons of passing (33 assists in exhibition!), Scottie and OG's ascension will sustain me.
