Harris doing well in Italy

Post#1 » by aligator » Wed Oct 27, 2021 8:29 pm

Jalen Harris seems to be playing well for Vanoli Cremona, leading the team in minutes and points, while second in assists. Assuming he is re-instated by the NBA, Raps have a window to sign him back in summer. It might be a situation to keep an eye on going forward.

Thanks for the update. Great to hear. Something tells me Harris may end up being better than Flynn.

Would be nice to get him back on that entry level contract with first year guaranteed and second year team option where he remains a restricted free agent if possible. The freddy contract to start. Not sure if that’s possible or not with CBA, not a guru on that anymore. His shooting would be really helpful about now.

Dude showed some flashes of being an off the bench bucket getter late last year.

This year in Italy may be a blessing in disguise for him.. get some pro minute reps instead of 905 reps.

As long as we have his rights, its a blessing for us too.

I have no doubt he’d be one of the better offensive players on this team right now.

Would probably be our 6th man.

He definitely has a role in the NBA as an off the bench scorer, hope we can bring him back next season.

Reminds me of Monte Morris.

Rooting for him. Dude looked smooth in that one breakout game. He scored with ease in a variety of ways.

Malcolm Miller is on the same team. Wonder if we have some type of connection with them.

Thanks for sharing this news. I did check on him when he first started there and he was playing badly missing everything over the first couple games. Glad to see he bounced back into form.

He was a guy I had on my shortlist during that draft and after watching him explode at the end of the season on Dallas, I want to see more. He is the next Norman Powell if things workout for him.

I can only hope that in Italy a pasta deal is involved:

Wondering, do we retain any rights to him or is he free to sign with anyone? Wouldn't mind if they gave him another shot in summer league. Assuming he'll be eligible by then if all goes right?

I'm glad to hear he's doing well, and he should be welcomed back with open arms next season. As soon as he got suspended, I knew how badly that would effect our scoring off the bench this season. We sorely lack that exact Lou Will-type of wing creation and insta offence, that Harris has the ability to provide, with the addition of mega athleticism.

That's not surprising. He had a lot of scoring ability and feel combined with amazing athleticism to compensate for his smaller stature. He would've been huge for us as a scoring presence this season.

I hope everything works out alright and he's back next year.
