I thought the Blazers would bring in Ainge. Regardless, he is very overrated. The Celtics could have been miles ahead with the dump of assets they had.

Dennis Lindsey built that team, drafted Mitchell and Gobert, also hiring Quinn Snyder.
He would've been the right successor.
Looks like the new owner Dwyane Wade is not an easy guy to work with.

weird hire. he knows how to build a decent team but can't make those moves to get a team over the hump (like Ujiri or Pat Riley or Bufford). Utahs already good I don't see how he will make them better.

The funny thing is, the guy who was demoted, Justin Zanik, has built a better and more competitive team in UTAH than Danny Ainge did in BOS over the last 2-3 years.

Sounds as much like Ainge just bought himself a job buying a minority share.
A mistake by the Jazz, that's for sure. Ainge will inevitably try to take over and then trash the place.
