you could talk me into it;
tht and trent have same contract lenght; both signed 3 year contracts with 3rd year player option.

Nunn and THT for Trent has us paying tax. That makes it a VERY expensive 1st.
it saves money, about 14.5 for nunn and tht, trent makes 16mil

I really shouldn't math when I haven't had coffee.

Yes, you're absolutely correct.

Trent, OG and Flynn for AD?
Somehow I think both teams say no. LOL

Anyone see how great Kuz has been for Washington? That Westbrook trade is a gift that keeps on giving. As for LA, there's no escaping this atrocious mess they've put themselves in, I think they'll have to ride out the year in the hopes of Russ becoming a more attractive trade candidate as an expiring contract (my guess: it won't become more attractive).

I guess I could see this if the Lakers are willing to send us Horton-Tucker, Nunn and a first and either we love Horton-Tucker or there's a team out there that does (Indy with Turner, Pacers with Poeltl) AND we don't think a Trent extension is going to happen.

I would do Gary for THT, Nunn, 1st and maybe a swap or something. Send that 1st, one of ours and Dragic for Turner.

I wouldn't do Gary straight up without the 2nd trade being possible.

The Lakers can't trade a first until like 2027 or 2028.

They have like no assets.

None of Lakers garbage is worth it. I would be insulted if Horton-Tucker is even involved in a rumor. He's the most overrated scrub there is. YUCK. Stay the F away from my team.

Can be a partner for a 3-way trade if there are any that make any sense. Perhaps re-route Tobias Harris to them and get an additional first in a Ben Simmons trade?
I believe in Masai.

Trade was a disaster but Westbrook's deal might look okay when it's an expiring next deadline and teams realize they've overpaid some guys.

McCollum, Fournier, Mcdermott, Hayward, Marcus Morris, Joe Harris and Bertans go longer than Westbrook and whoever signs for too much money or too long this year.

Yeah, like this:

Team X: Horton-Tucker, Lakers 1st
Raptors: Team X player, Nunn
Lakers: Trent Jr.

Myles Turner has been mooted, but if you add picks from us or the Lakers and Dragic or Boucher's contract it opens up other possibilities.

Boy if they didn't like giving up THT for Lowry, they're really not going to like what we want for GTJ

Even then, I have no idea how you'd make the money work. Lakers have nobody in the ~16,000,000 range. I guess we could do something like GTJ, Dragic, Boucher, AND Birch for Westbrick?

Ugh. Gross. Just gross.

nunn and tht plus a future 1st

If Nunn was playing all year looking like a solid backup for Fred then maybe. Not his current injured state with no idea how he'll come out of it
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

THT, 2027 unprotected and 2028 swap. I like GTJ but if you can press and get an overpay (unprotected pick and swap post Lebron and maybe AD), then we'd have to take it.

Typical Lakers propaganda. They'll be linked to every trade rumor. The simple fact is they're not trading LBJ, AD and nobody wants Westbrook. They have nothing else.

Only way Ujiri even considers this is if Anthony Davis is included, otherwise LeBron and Pelinka completely delusional and straight up trolling.

Here's a trade that works and would be close to fair on both sides, Davis/Tucker for Siakam/Trent, what u say LeBron?

Well when you have a player who's agent is Klutch you will have interest.

The best I would do is Trent for Nunn, THT and a 2nd rounder. And that's still sort of gross. But gets us a backup PG for the year (Nunn has not yet played a second). THT is having a bad season, and is a pretty terrible 3pt shooter. So will fit right in :)
