Pacers can't catch any breaks.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Turner's value just went down the drain.
If they wanted 2 firsts for him before, they'll be getting 1 first now.

After learning the severity of this injury, as well as its long term implications, I think it's best for the Raps to stay as far away as possible for him. Unless you can get him for two 2nd round picks, lol.

With that being said... BRING SABONIS HOME.

he isnt expiring; woj reports they are willing to wait for offseason. seconds isnt going to do it still; lowers value but not to that extent.

I know, I was just saying I wouldn't be willing to trade for him anymore unless he comes that cheap (which he won't) given the extent of the injury.

This is the second injury to his foot in a year. He missed the last 20 games last season due to a toe injury and now this.

Yup, out entirely on Turner now. We need someone to step in and help right away.

Myles Turner has played 7 seasons (including this one)...3 seasons in which he has played less than 65 games (not including the covid shortened season). It appears to the case this season as well.
That would give him 4 of his 7 years in which he has missed significant time with injury.

It is a red flag.

Another foot injury for Myles. That will surely torpedo whatever leverage Indy has at this moment. Lets see how badly they are willing to move Myles. Doubtful they will sell him cheap anyways.

You know I would be happy with any combo of Poeltl and Bryn Forbes or Doug McDermott. We need a C and a back-up shooter off the bench. Forbes and Poeltl shouldn't be costly around $13m total and Forbes expires this year.

McDermott would be nice size and shooting to add but he has a pricier deal at $12m per season with two years left after this season. Not sure Toronto would go into the tax for Dougie McBuckets, but to me he has a very moveable contract if we need to pivot. Shooters are always in high demand.

Boucher/Flynn/Svi for Poeltl/Forbes

or

Dragic/Boucher for Poeltl/McDermott

The problem being that Boucher has turned a corner and is a valuable piece for us since December. Nothing is sure, but we tend to hang onto our guys - so we might need to include others to make up the $7m that Boucher's contract takes up.

Of note, Bryn Forbes and Thad Young were DNPCDs last night for San Antonio. If we are going with the non-center-center route then Young would be fun.

Foot injuries for a big is concerning but this could also be a good Kawhi-esque buy low opportunity. If Embiid can stay somewhat healthy anyone can

The bigger problem with Carroll was that he sucked :D

This was my thought as well. With the way we jumped in on Kawhi while his value was low, I can see Masai continuing to pursue Turner (if he in fact thinks Turner's a worthwhile player to pursue, obviously).

Multiple foot injuries are not good for big men. Probably a red-flag and should stay away. Wouldn't surprise me if Turner goes the way of Cousins and will end up being a bench player moving from team to team if his foot injuries are long term.

This. I want immediate help. We should pivot to Levert if he can be got without touching our core 5 or 6

When's the last time a team without an elite defensive C won a championship? The Cavs in 2016 maybe? Your center has to anchor a defensive or the overall team defense will not be good. That's how valuable the position is. Sabonis wouldn't help that and would cost a lot.
