I only logged in to give credit to Precious. His defense was incredible just stuffing Giannis at the rim. That was an eye opening performance and he even made good plays on offense.

I know he might not manage to play this way over several games, but this is a huge show. I loved his feet and his contests were all great. Amazing that he played almost 40 mins.

That's nice. We have one of those lying around as well...in fact you should remember it as you helped us get it.

Give our best to Googly Eyes.

Ps: thank Bud for those timeouts at the end - we really needed a breather. But plz ask him to stop crying about not getting enough fts.

Shout out to Bobby Portis. Two games in a row he has got in our faces and motivated our team when they were looking lost.

Once he headbutted Pascal it was over. Next thing you know it was a spicy triple double.

The lakers & even the bucks have defended their NBA championships poorly, really feel if the season didn’t end in march 2020, due to covid-19, we would have gone to NBA finals; really we never got to properly defend our championship, I think we were 2nd best record in the league when it shut down the games.

Lol form means nothing without the results. His college and nba %’s speak for themselves he’s never been a shooter. Nobody wants a 6’6 rebounding specialist this isnt 2005 where you can get away with brutes. The starters deserve a better bench.

What a silly take.
Rebounding is one of the greatest skills a player can possess. The ability to win your team extra possessions is extremely important and always will be.
He's a great piece on the bench. A guy that plays his role well and will eventually develop a shot.

To suggest "form means nothing without results" is just dumb considering this is only his rookie season and he just started getting playing time.
He's clearly improving that aspect of his game and it's beginning to show.
Heck, OG shot 31% on 2.8 attempts from behind the arc in his sophomore season. Now look at him.
Justin shot 31% on 3.7 attempts from behind the arc in his sophomore season... so give him some time, I trust the Raptors development staff to maximize his potential as a shooter as they've done with OG.

Hating on Champagnie at this point is ridiculous. Dude's been the lone bright spot off the bench.

Champagnie contributes to winning games more than Banton, Flynn, Yuta and Svi. This isn't a high standard but for an undrafted rookie he is doing a good job and contributes to winning. He is the same age as Barnes so he can improve by a lot. Getting a shot should be doable. He should be a rotational player going forward, the Raptors must just put another shooter next season in the rotation and possibly another ball handler.

Van vleet kinda locked Giannis twice, with a single hand, as Giannis was on the way up. I think he is so strong! Giannis could not raise the ball up. Anyone else saw those?

It’s impossible to not like Giannis when he plays in an era of fake superstars who have to team up their way to rings. Was happy they were the ones winning last year instead of the Nets.

To be fair, playoffs have yet to start. Bucks have yet to defend.

they have to make the playoffs to defend & they’re currently they are 8th best seed in league record-wise & no difference in the overall record of Milwaukee, Philadelphia & Cleveland - that’s the reality of their situation

I read alot of opposing forums on the night the raps play that particular team and I just wanted to sign in to say, **** the bucks. And you know that word in asterisks rhymes with buck.

Bucks fans drag the raps through the mud on this forum so I hope they take this L as a colossal middle finger.

Okay I’m done.

Coach Budweiser crying post-game about calls was just the cherry on top for the best game of the year.

Pascal's feel for the game has developed, even with a shaky jumper. Note how Giannis still relies heavily on barrelling through guys and getting calls. The Bucks can't develop players. It's going to be tough for them to find a second chapter in Giannis' career when they can really only produce 3&D prospects. For example, Giannis came into the league the same year Masai took over. They've produced Poeltl, Wright, OG, Pascal, Freddie All-Star, Norm, Scottie and now Champagnie. The Bucks have... DiVincenzo?

Wasn’t the bucks championship one of the least watched NBA finals in the past 20 years?

The past two finals don’t count imo. Even this year is an asterisk.

Until things go back to normal ie fans in the stands and no more player protocols holding stars out for stretches of games this is all just entertainment and not real competition.

This goes for most of the sporting world.

Bucks shot 2/14 against Precious. Giannis was 0/5 against him.

Dominant performance.

Giannis was in shock thinking here we go again, Raptors just keep getting players that make it tough for him. And buds rhought he was slick sitting him against us then playing him when Barnes is sitting lol he must cry at night thinking about Nurse.

honestly i like these heavy minutes. these are young men in perfect health with all the luxuries. is anyone really going to argue they are strong and well-conditioned enough to play 34 minutes a game but not 39?

push them hard and it will just make them tougher.

and as for injuries, they can happen anytime anywhere.

Not gonna lie it feels nice when our guys are crashing the O boards, watching other teams sulk from all those 2nd chance opportunities is a nice change. Just need iur guys to capitalize on it and need a bench who can score consistently while not sucking on defense.

it's strange because a few years ago - under Casey I think - we had bought into the dubious Pops proposition that offensive boards were not only not important but were not worth trying for compared to the value of getting back on defense and i am pretty sure we were just about the worst in the league at one point. now we are #1 in O boards yet perhaps because we are so fast and well coached we generally prevent transition points as well.

The year we won our championship they weren't important, but yes, if our team can do both in crashing the offensive boards and getting back on D, that's a win-win.

It's more wear and tear that comes with playing Nurse's help-heavy defense. This is a taxing system. Fred himself routinely confesses that he doesn't play well banged up. They were trying to push Scottie to play yesterday.
