Big shout out to the Raps board members holding down the fort on the general board against the Philly trolls. They are so nasty, just relentless with their trolling and baiting. You can tell they don't even believe half the things they're spewing.

I don't remember Bucks and Boston fans being this nasty besides the lone racist saltics fan that called our fan base the taliban. These Philly fans are something else. Almost want me to get Howard Maas to reinstate my account for the general board but I'm getting heated reading the game thread there. Would be a matter of time before I would be forced to make another account because I'd be banned in no time responding to the nasty trolls

Just making this thread to show appreciation to all the raptors fans there standing up for our team and putting these trolls in their place. It's unfortunate that some of these trolls are Philly mods that are allowed to spew their garbage and bait.

It’s expected from their fans. We feel that they played dirty in game 1. Losing is one thing, but having one of your main guys injured is a lot worse. Whether we won or lost the series the playoff experience as a rookie is invaluable.

There have been a bunch of Raptors fans on here and social media wishing injury and even worse on Embiid.

Some friendly trash talk is cool, but most of this stuff is honestly pretty childish.

I think the most shocking thing of all this is how low their expectations are. Shouldn't they have title aspirations? Why are they bragging about beating a team they are supposed to beat?

They are definitely baiting hard. Just don't get upset. Throw the facts at them. Last chip was 1983. They can say whatever they want about Masais move, about Canada, Call us the Craptors. Just post a pic of Embiid crying. Scottie a bright kid to have. He's gonna be a joy to watch develop into a Star.

That's the issue some people treat this as a instagram comment section. It's for discussions not random slang words and memes.

Couldn't agree more. Let them have their moment. They've literally had nothing to celebrate for almost 20 years.

I'm sure they are doing it because our fans are pretty bad as well. Especially on social media.. It's a sport and most importantly a business so I dunno why people take it that serious.

Yep. Facts still don't matter to trolls though. It's wild that there is a group of Philly fans claiming we're not a rebuilding team because we "only traded Lowry and Powell for Achiuwa and GTJ" while also ignoring we have given Scottie ~36 MPG out of the gates and played numerous other young players meaningful minutes throughout the season.

It's okay guys, Philly will be peaking this year and they still wont win a championship. Wait until they give Harden that super max extension and it's all downhill from there.

Every fan base has it's bad apples. Even this Raps board has members who intentionally go on other boards to gloat and cause trouble. Until we clean up bad apples on our board, I would not complain about other boards' fans.

You guys are just as bad. Raptor fans have the rep of being weirdos.

What moment though? They won game 1 of a first round playoff series. They haven't accomplished anything yet. Anything less than a championship for them is an unsuccessful season. They should have higher aspirations.

I lurked over to the Philly board just to take the temperature - posters joke about how it's Mad Max over there, and the mods are the warlords lol

Just let 'em bark - Embiid and Harden don't have much longer, and they'll be back to something like "The Process", while The Raptors build on this year with a very bright future for years to come.

Honestly, I think they are triggered by the constant, familiar, and usual "Raps in 4" type of posts and because game 1 was heated in terms of injuries, pushing and shoving.
