If I recognize the name of whoever we draft (from these draft threads), I'll consider it a win in my books.

The prospects at the top of this draft don't really excite me. Good thing we got our top pick in last years draft.

Well ino we looked at Leonard Miller. If he declares and stays in the draft, I could see us taking him as he wouldn't be there if he went to college and declared next year. He'd be a first rounder with lottery potential.

I'm surprised Emoni Bates didn't declare, he would've been drafted on potential regardless

He’s not draft eligible.

And even if he was, he looks terrible. He’s had trouble getting interest from schools in the transfer portal based on how bad he is and how much of a headcase he (and his father) brings to the team

Give me Peyton Watson, Leonard Miller, or Koloko. Leonard Miller is the least likely to be available at our pick though unfortunately

What about Yannick Nsoza?

Yeah last draft I was way more excited because of the star power and depth in the 2021 draft. This years draft isn't as good but there are some decent pieces available.

Honestly haven’t watched much of him but I’ll check him out. I didn’t realize he was within our range. Wasn’t he a projected lotto pick earlier?

He has great length which certainly makes him intriguing

Btw if we don’t draft a Center this year, I’d really like Adem Bona in the 2023 draft. He’s an extremely mobile and athletic big who can run the floor and protect the rim well. 6’11” with a 7’4” wingspan. I’ll be watching him a lot next year in college so im gonna get a good look at him to see whether he’d be a good fit for the Raptors

He’s also Nigerian which is always a plus

Leonard Miller would likely be there, I haven't seen him mocked 1st round. Latest intel I saw was a promise at 36 from POR

100%. Outside of Holmgren, those top-ranked bigs give me Derrick Williams/Thomas Robinson vibes.

As of right now yeah. But I fully expect him to leap up draft boards after the combine and workouts. He’s way too unique and intriguing of a prospect to fall to the 2nd round. He is gonna work himself to the lotto or late teens at worst imo

I think if the raps thought leonard miller was someone that had major potential they wouldnt have traded down in draft. Cuz it seems hes gonna go 20-30

There is no Cade in this year’s draft but I don’t understand how people aren’t more excited. Jabari and Banchero have both looked great most of the year. Ivey is an exciting guard. Chet is boom or bust but even he’s fun to watch with his crazy size and dribbling ability. Mathurin, Griffin, and Sharpe are great guard prospects. If any of those three were on our development team we would make them great players. Keegan Murray putting up monster numbers game after game.

I feel like the top of this draft might have 3-4 studs when it’s all said and done. Obviously can be wrong but there are so many interesting options just like last year.

This he was not very good at all.

Them trading down to the second round suggests they aren’t high on this draft in general.

He’s also not his listed age. I refuse to believe it.
