I know these are small clips but what's cool about Scottie is he doesn't care about being the main guy on a team. He understands he's better off on a playoff team than being the star in say, Houston, and he appreciates having great older teammates.

I attended the (unofficial) 2016 RealGM draft party at St. Louis' near the Rogers Centre. There were about 10 or so RealGMers at two tables. When Raps were on the clock, we started chanting "Skal, Skal, Skal". And of course were bitterly disappointed when Masai again reached for some unknown guy.

I was never impressed with Davis, tho'. I loved Diamond Stone's name. Brice Johnson seemed intriguing. But just look at those guys who went ahead of Pascal - Malachi Richardson, Yabusele, Bembry, Ellenson, Korkmaz. :nonono:

Can you imagine if we had drafted one of them instead? No championship. No finishing with the second best record overall - three seasons in a row. But still too good to tank.

I remember that I had no idea who he was when he was drafted and then they showed his lil highlight video and my first reaction was this guy looks better than the dude we drafted in the lottery (Poetl). Glad we got him and stuck with him. I think next year will be the year he puts it all together (finally).

..... just noted another all-nba guy from 2014.. Gor@n Dr@gic. Imagine if he had 'winning' ambitions and gave 10-12 minutes a night so FVV could have more legs in the playoffs.... Sigh. :nonono:

Very nice! Congrats Pascal.
As flawed as he's been at times as a player, he's pretty much been on my no-trade list for the past few seasons, now alongside Barnes.
He's solidifying himself as that prototypical 1b/2a guy on a championship contender.
If he can get back to above NBA avg from 3, he's going to make a few more 3rd team+ All NBA before his career is over.
