The purpose of education is to win. You know who wins the most? The universities. Nobody wins as much as UofT. Every time I tell them "stop it, the tuition is high enough, you have already bled the students dry" they say "we can always do better". That's a winning mentality.

Man, I've got two degrees, and I've never heard that term before. Apparently I was a graduand twice and didn't even know it.

But to be fair, I didn't get my degrees at U of T - i.e. "Harvard North".

Yeah in all fairness it’s quite an uncommon word that is only used in Canada and the UK I think. I first heard of it when I graduated from UofT a couple years ago

Technically he is already a graduand. That is someone who is eligible to be graduated. He will be a graduate next Friday.
