Claxton makes no sense now with Koloko in the fold. Not to mention we still have Birch on the roster.

We need a ball-handling wing in the worst way now.

Amir Coffee isn't on the top of the list in terms of guards available, but I'm praying we can grab him with a Partial MLE or BAE.

Very Raptor-like player. I think he's the most underrated player on the FA market tbh

Tucker

Numerous rival teams, meanwhile, say with even more conviction now than they did last week - when I first it reported on Wednesday - that they expect P.J. Tucker to land in Philadelphia on a three-year, $30 million deal in free agency. If Pat Riley's Heat can find a way now to re-sign Tucker, they will definitely surprise some people. It seems increasingly safe, then, to at least pencil in a Harden/Tucker reunion into a Sixers offseason that already features the draft- day acquisition of De'Anthony Melton from Memphis. Philly is also expected to continue exploring trade scenarios that feature Tobias Harris and Matisse Thybulle.

Wall

This week marked the first time in some time that I heard serious murmurs about Wall successfully negotiating a buyout with the Rockets after his season on the sidelines - provided Houston remains unable to find a trade partner on a Wall deal.

It is still unclear, with Wall presumed to be essentially untradeable when he's due $47.4 million next season, how much of that salary he would have to surrender in buyout talks to convince the Rockets to let him become a free agent. Interest in Wall from the Clippers and Heat, if he can finally make his way onto the open market, has been mentioned for months. I've likewise been advised that the Lakers - resistant as they remain to trading Russell Westbrook to Houston for Wall by attaching draft capital as a sweetener for the Rockets - would consider Wall as a candidate for the roster if he is suddenly available via the buyout market.

Other than that, a full MLE SG will come in.

Top 8 and Koloko/Banton/Champagnie as 9th rotational player.

Why do you think Thad walks? What team will give him more money and/or a bigger role?

tax reasons. I think Boucher gets a lot more money most expect and we can't afford Young under the tax.

I would prefer to keep Young than Boucher if only one. If one walks, team can use MLE and BA. If both walk, it will be very difficult to replace them and add elsewhere. If both stay, MLE can still be used but BA won't for luxury tax reasons.

I doubt they strike out on Brunson, his dad works for the Knicks as an assistant coach and they're giving him a big contract

our backup 1 and 2 spot is really muddled. We have a glut of players who might not be deserving of significant time. flynn, banton, bonga, svi, brooks, johnson, maybe jalen harris; gotta really clarify that this offseason.

Its crucial we keep Boucher, because outside of our core 5 players....we don't have any tradeable Depth pieces that can be used to match salary.

Losing him when we have his bird rights is just mismanagement of assets. Would be a waste considering our bench and trade depth is already thin, to begin with.

Even if Boucher asks for an overpay, you still give it to him and trade him down the line. Boucher will always be a hot commodity in the market if he continues to play like he did

There would need to be a market for Boucher above the mid level. There aren’t teams with cap space that make sense for Boucher.

I see the raps offering just over the Mid level. Boucher gets only mid level offers. Signs with the raps. Raps have money for Thad. Also have the mid level and stay under the tax.

How soon after 6 pm that day can we expect an announced Raptor signing. Getting excited with anticipation. Hopefully not a big letdown coming
