Koloko looked alright --- his length bothered a number of shots.

Pascal's team wins only because of their rebounding...and Scottie LOL. But a 5-man unit of Pascal, Scottie, Delano, DJ, and Koloko was obviously going to win the rebounding battle no matter who they play, that's just not fair LOL.

The average wingpan and standing reach of that lineup are ~7'3" and ~9'1", respectively. Same as Chris Bosh's wingspan/standing reach, give or take a half inch. We've got 5 Bosh's out there length wise for a summer run, it's insane. NBA teams in the playoffs don't even put out that amount of length, including us.

Naaa. He had all his unstoppable moves, just didn’t finish. Seems like he just needs to regain his touch and feel, something that he’s very good at. So nothing to see here.

Yeah all jokes aside, I'm not worried about Pascal at all. We have enough evidence from last year that those shots are usually money in the bank for him.

Banton And Flynn look the same, unfortunately. Banton needs to bulk up A bit, particularly his legs. He can’t keep up laterally and needs to build a better base. Barnes is looking like a beast, should be able to score 22ppg this year depending on how nurse manages offense between FVV, OG and Barnes. Siakam will continue to be the lead generator. Precious and Boucher and GTJ will continue to be non primary scorers.

Harden always dominates these runs. But I do see him more as the Sixers playmaker and no longer a big time scorer. Siakam looked like bubble version lol. Can get any shot he wants but bricks them like he hasn’t shot a basketball in years. Scottie showing some good handle there. Still a bit passive, and I don’t see that going away until they force him into Siakams role or years from now he gradually takes it.

If this vid is any indication, Barnes gonna take the keys next year.

Siakam got to his shots but just missed them. Probably just rust. We see him make those in real games. But I shudder to see what NBA Twitter is saying about it haha.

Pascal looked bad in the video...missed a lot of bunnies, hopefully not a regression to bubble Trascal,

Scottie looked encouraging, hey i know i've been skeptical of his jump, but man...he could be a special one

A lot of times, players jumpers don't translate to game....Banton, Flynn, Pascal struggled with that jumper
Barnes just hit them

I'm not in love with how Barnes' shot looks, but if his mechanics are consistent and he's confident in it, that's what matters.

Masai and Bobby really are palying 4D chess with moves like hiring Rico Hines.

I can see it now, in 2024 the league is investigating why players like Harden have decided to cut ties with their respective team and have decided to join the Raptors on a veteran minimum contract.

I'll copy what I posted from the other thread about one of the moments I liked.

I think my favourite moment was a play that starts around the 16:00 mark, where Pascal has the ball near the top of the key, and the defence is all keyed in on him, so Scottie, who is on the opposite side low-post, slides across the lane to Pascal's side, and then Pascal finds him open with a nice little over-the-shoulder pass. Nothing fancy, just smart court awareness by both of them, and further evidence of their developing chemistry.

Also, I really hope that people aren't serious trying to read anything into a few missed shots. What's more important is to see the development of ball-handling and moves that guys have worked on so far. Shots will even out.

You have 2 random teams with guys...then you have team Raptors 1 and Raptors 2. And then you have player development coaches Rico Hines and Earl Watson in attendance. Talk about representation. lol

While I empathize with the sentiment, I just generally am not a fan of people trashing pascal. How much does he need to prove? MIP, 2nd scorer in a championship team, amongst hardest workers in the league, and 2 time all nba. His resume trumps Bosh, VC and almost every other raptor legend not named Lowry. We would be lucky if Barnes reaches his accolades, and yes, I know Barnes has a top-5 superstar type ceiling. So I just cringe when people underestimate or sh!& on pascal. I think he’s earned and deserves loyalty and trust, and we should be propping him up when he’s down.

I always wondered about these Raptors "invites" like 3 or 4 years ago when Christian wood was decked out in Raptors gear at Ricos run but never ended up being anything. The Raptors are done with training camp invites. At least Wiltjer's only there because he's on the national team that will play in the upcoming window and Nurse/Nate want to see him work on stuff (he's also not decked in Raptors gear). I think the conclusion we came up with long ago was that these guys just came into the gym with nothing to wear so Raps just gifted them theirs

Heavyweight champ Rocky Marciano from the '50s was known to show up to speak at a banquet, in t-shirt and jeans, so the organizers had to buy him a suit.

Nick speaking before his charity golf tournament in Uxbridge said:

“I don’t want to go too far here,” Nurse said moments before his tournament teed off, “but I see a little specialness with this group... “I mean there is not one of them here today, right? The reason for that is they are all in the gym together working out. Literally, the entire team barring one guy who is doing a basketball event in another country. So, we’ve seen some really good signs for some cohesion and some belief and building.”

They're not all there but one are they? Are some working at other gyms? And who's the one Raptor doing an event outside the country?

That was Day 1 video. There was a pic of OG there, probably in Day 2 where there hasn't been any videos yet. The one Raptor out of the country is Precious still in Nigeria.

Well Culver was placed on team "raptors" for a reason. Probably nothing, but I think there's more to it.
