This is the worst boring longest offseason ever. Where do we go from here? And what happened to summer league? Arent we 3-0?

I have been checking this damn website for a month and a half since the KD news broke. The nonmovement has been a total piss off and is extremely boring man.

At least a dozen Raptors, including ALL the starters, showed up for Rico Hines' runs.

I don't think I have ever seen so many teammates working out as a group with their assistant coaches in the middle of August. We should appreciate the player leadership on this team. It is very special, and a great omen for the season.

I was wondering this exact same thing. Maybe the sign Rico yearly and give him the summer off? I have no idea but was curious how they were getting around this. Or maybe they just stopped caring after the Lakers broke all rules and won a title doing this in the pandemic.

Maybe it's the paying for part as it could be seen as cap circumvention putting them up and paying for everything?

Maybe they just think it's worth $250,000? I wouldn't be surprised if they asked about it, but 250k is so low.

It could be the paying part too. I'm sure that the players are paying Rico to attend the runs, so that could be a workaround on that item.
The twitter clip could just be guys showing up at the UCLA gym (also in LA). If the players rented the gym (FVV, Pascal have the bucks to do it easily) and are in LA on their own dime, having assistants present isn't breaking the 'paid for by team' rule.

Maybe LA is a special Lakers zone where anything goes...lol.
