Looks like Justin's frustrated with Nick and his lack of minutes in the big club

Nick is not a great coach for developing young guys. It is what it is
Super short leash for young players while Fred pounds the rock and shoots bricks on his way to 40 minutes

Really, the 15th man, who was the last to survive the cuts, complaining about playing time, because he is putting numbers in the G league?
You know the team is bad when this player is thinking he can turn around the team

I actually think Champagnie is exactly what this team needs right now. A dog on the glass, good 3 point shooter, good off-ball guy.
It's not like our bench is lighting it up anyways.

He can shoot 3s now? He was not even a decent 3 point shooter last season.

I don’t blame him. Guys like Flynn and Champaigne only have a short window to prove they can belong in the NBA.
Yuta could of been out of the league for good if he didn’t get the opportunity to play more on the Nets this season.

He just got back from injury. This is his 1st really good game since coming back. Guy has "perseverance" written on his arm, maybe the other arm should say "patience".

He shot it well in the G-league, but so did Dalano.

No one on the bench even celebrates. They're all upset. When they see a guy having 4/20 shooting nights on a consistent basis and still gets played 40+ minutes by the coach, they have every right to be pissed.
Nurse truly is Thibs 2.0

i was just about to post this.
he appears to be coaching to his reputation.
aka tom tibideau-itis.
hes not going to risk his stature nurturing young players.

Yeah, the rebounding has been a bigger issue lately. And with a Suns game coming up, it's hard not to remember how well JC rebounded against them a year ago.

People are willing to sacrifice when they're winning but when they're losing, this BS that Nurse is doing will not be accepted. Let's see how strong our culture really is now.
Also funny that it's Champagnie is the first one to complain since he just got healthy a little while ago lol.

36% from 3 is elite for us.

Champagne is a great rebounder, good shooter and plays really smart defense. He could be an ideal rotation guy as a SF/ small ball PF, hell he could use all of Banton's minutes, I still doesn't understand why he doesn't get any Burn while Banton gets major minutes. This team could use his feistiness, he has some nastiness in him that you just can't teach.

When Nurse puts in guys from the bench not named Gary Trent, our opponents tend to go on big runs immediately.

I like Justin but he missed all of camp, has only been back a handful of games and has really shown out the last few.
This is a silly look for a guy that was going to battle for an 11-15th slot from the start.

Speaking of the Suns Champagnie reminds me of Shawn Marion, just a dog on the offensive glass. He needs minutes, give him all of Banton's minutes that guy is a token Canadian that gets minutes because he's from Rexdale, he's a waste of a roster space.

Banton or Champagnie who do you got?

I understand what you are saying, but at the same time the Raptors have terrible guard options behind VanVleet/Trent Jr.
Banton
Flynn
Dowtin
Harper Jr.
Yuck.
Everyone seems to want to trade either VanVleet or Trent Jr. but there is nobody even close to being able to replace either player. Malcolm Brogdon would have really helped, but you can't blame him for wanting to go to the Celtics over the Raptors. It is possible the Raptors were targeting Andrew Nembhard, but he obviously got picked before the Raptors were on the clock. I can't imagine any teams in the league has worse guards behind their man two guys then the Raptors.
