So much negativity here. I for one am excited to have Yak back. Great to have a legit C who can defend and rebound. Plus it will be fun to see Pascal and his buddy back in action. Basketball is entertainment, it’s supposed to be fun no matter what.

If the Wizards waive Delon we can get the whole gang back together.

I think this is amazing we have a top 10 centre, and a top 5 defensive centre - it's exactly what we needed - Poetl's IQ is of the chart - Welcome back Yak!

I haven't watched much of Poeltl with the Spurs, so I'm interested to see how he's improved.

I feel that most of this team's problems stemmed from not having a real starting center, so now there's no more excuses.

Not too excited due to the big picture situation but I think Yak is going to make everyone’s lives easier on the defensive end.

I think our defence will reach some new heights. Offensively ? We shall see lol.

Hoping he brings some good vibes back to this team.

I’m interested to see if we change our defensive scheme now. There’s no reason to send your wing players to protect the paint when you have Poeltl on the team now.

Siakam and Jakob? This gonna be the Demar and Lowry era part deux!

I'm ecstatic to finally have a Center on this team. I'm pretty sure half of my posts have been crying about our centerless lineup so at least this will shut me up on that topic.

Now to find something else to be upset about lol.

Yakkety yak, do come back!

His assists are way up on the spurs. Not sure how much of that is usage or developed ability though, but I don't know much of anything.

Excited about adding him. I can see it unlocking a lot for us.

I expect confusion the first few games. If they go even harder for steals because Poeltl is there but he’s not sure where he needs to be it could look brutal. Unfortunately we need those steals for the offense and the offence might be worse in the halfcourt if that’s possible.
As an aside, they play the Jazz tomorrow so if Kessler is doing well, I might not be on here to ‘enjoy’ the circle jerk of suffering some seem to crave around here.

I think he’ll work out eventually but I’ll be surprised if it doesn’t take awhile.
