For me, it's Brice all the way. We're gonna be picking in the teens. I take a flyer on this man and hope he pans out into an elite scorer. He's certainly putting up some sick numbers.

Same. He has that elite offensive talent and then you hope that he can be better defensively especially with his body type/size.

DBPM is 1.1 and there's very few starting quality NBA players that have had <1.5. I think Jamal Murray and Lauri Markannen and that's about that. The negative A:TO ratio and super high usage rate is a little scary, too.

Hendricks fits their profile. Another 3 and D wing and maybe there's some upside there that they can crack into
Tyler Metcalf: The Thunder have shown their hand in recent drafts in terms of the players they prefer. Size, IQ, versatility, and character are requirements, not just preferences, to be drafted by the Thunder. The Thunder are in a really good spot as a young team and can afford to take a swing on a young player who has a relatively safe floor and a fascinating ceiling. Hendricks has only shown flashes of being able to create on-ball, but his off-ball shooting should translate almost immediately. Given the playmakers the Thunder already have, Hendricks provides a reliable option from outside. Defensively, Hendricks is an excellent shot blocker and continues to show development with his on-ball defense.

If we are still in the late lottery I still want Anthony Black.

I would like him to be the younger, better shooting version of Boucher for the team.

viewtopic.php?f=32&t=2215015&p=103115398#p103115398From the NCAA pool, really like what I've seen so far from guys like Brandon Miller (Alabama), Jarace Walker (Houston), Gradey Dick (Kansas), Kyle Filipowski (Duke), Brice Sensabaugh (Ohio State) and Taylor Hendricks (UCF).
There's also a few guys I've seen ranked high in early mainstream mocks that I haven't been impressed with what I've seen so far like Nick Smith (Arkansas), Cam Whitmore (Villanova), Dariq Whitehead (Duke) and GG Jackson (South Carolina).
My early season thoughts on these guys haven't really changed much. Still very high on Miller, Jarace, Gradey and Hendricks (although Miller and Jarace are almost certainly out of our range at this point).
The more I've seen of Rayan Rupert and Bilal Coulibaly, the more intrigued I am by the potential they both have.
I've cooled off of Filipowski/Sensabaugh and warmed up a bit more to Whitmore, though I would put all these guys in a tier of players I need to see more of to further solidify my thoughts on them. Still very low on Nick Smith, Whitehead and GG Jackson.

Sensabaugh? If he's not a good defender then we're not taking him. His numbers offensively look similar to Bane but Bane was always a good defender in college and it seems a better passer than Brice. I would bet money that if Rayan Rupert is there when we select, we're taking him.

I'm taking a long look at Max Lewis depending on where and who's available.

Same. We really need to fill out our guard depth. I was one the Cason Wallace bandwagon for a long time, but have been more and more impressed with Black recently. I would be very happy with either.

As much as I'd like us to stay in the lottery, I think there's a good chance to get a good player even between 15-20.
I have to imagine that at worst, at least one of Lewis, Hendricks, Whitehead or Hood-Schifino will be there.
I would stay away from Nick Smith and Brice Sensabaugh.

I've actually been more impressed with Whitehead recently. He started out really rough to begin the year, and it's really hard to say what kind of an impact the injuries have had on him.
That said, I think his shot will absolutely play at the next level. Great form, repeated action, and ability to get it off fairly quickly. I also think his defence will end up being at least average in the NBA, if not better. And he's showing more driving ability lately (or willingness, which again, may be related to injuries earlier).
There are still a bunch of players I would take before him, but he's no longer on my "stay away from" list.

Was anyone high on Jordan Hawkins in the last thread? 6'5 SG playing out of UConn.
I've been watching some tape on him, and I've got to say I kind of like his game. He's projected well below our range right now

Same here that's where my focus is, guards. We're lacking in good guard play. We have bigs for days.

He’s the opposite of hyped. He was ranked outside of the first round until recently and is just solid. He gets the job done. Where’s the hype?
